They meant "hot plate." Hot plate for Andy Reid. Dunch is served. He's had lunch, dinner isn't til 7, so it's time for dunch.

I would be so pissed if I was a lions fan Jim Caldwell was terrible at Indy and I have no idea why he ever got a chance to HC

Oh yeah.

Detroit pretty much gave up for the next 3 years by hiring Caldwell.

I think firing Schwartz was the right idea but there aren't many worst Candidates for head coach hen Caldwell they should have tried to get hue Jackson or Vic fangio

Author is dumb. If anything he is more secure. With charles down he has a built in excuse why the offense is failing. Even if he was misusing him badly.

1-15 will be a pretty hard sell for any coach to stay

I'm not so sure the team looks like they have given up on Reid and if the Texans started mallet instead we could be just as bad as the lions right now

This. Regardless of what the majority want, I don't see Clark firing him with 2 winning seasons followed by a shitty season where our best (misused) weapon went down and the o line was below average.

Dorsey & or who ever scouted Dee Ford should be fired.

Reid is not going anywhere, even if the Chiefs are 1-15.

I don't expect him go anywhere but no excuse not to draft a QBotf 2016 & start getting Aaron Murray extra practice reps and get him into games this year. Let Chase Daniel play a few games just get Alex Smith off the field.

Open competition all over next year no ones job should be safe & tell the fans we are going start a young team that we can get behind for a long time but have growing pains. Fans will likely accept the concept rather than retreads we get.

A rookie making a mistake can grow and correct it but a vet making same mistakes over and over is a lost cause that's what we have here.

They got Reid at #2Thats BS. Clark is not sending Reid packing even if we lose all the rest of our games.

Does that even count against the cap?

People said the same thing with Carl Peterson herm Edwards and Scott Pioli some times this franchise can make the right choice.

Clark likes to think he is one of the big kids he tries and hires the best gm candidate in Scott Pioli that didn't work so he tried hiring the best coaching candidate available neither have payed off for him but at least he is trying.

I mean, if they're looking for a new head coach, I'd be willing to put my two weeks in at my current place of employment...

Since you all are so sure a new coach is the answer who is a realistic candidate?

We know Big Ang will be here through next season. Best hope is Clark suggests some shakeup in the QB corps. I'd help put/keep fans in the seats. The Aleks Smiff show is too turrible to endure.
