He will play. Barring injury, or the fans storming the field soccer style and bludgeoning Alex themselves, he will finish the season. I would not be surprised if he isn't starting next season and then gets the hook mid season. Hopefully for Murray or 1st round pick QB (hAHhAHaHHAHHaHHhaHhHAH!).

And yet Andy still has a job.

Dumping Andy now does nothing. His pay check is also to big to get rid of him just like Smith's. Both of them will be back next year because Clark does not have the guts to do anything else.

They both should be gone but the dead money with Smith would be like 25 mil and Andy is on a 5 year deal at 7 mil per year I think. Chump change to Clark but he just begged Andy to come here less than three years ago. He has no way near the stones to dump him yet.

That depends on what the league wants the plot to be for the would-be WINNERS. The LOSERS, like the Chiefs, don't really matter unless they get caught in the narrative.

The Cardinals and 49er games last year are prime examples.

Chiefs | Jeremy Maclin expected to be cleared

Alex Smith is on pace for 4200 yards this year while running for his life at the same time.

What; 4200 yards, 6 TDs and 9 INTs??

ROFL

You can't make this shit up.

Only in today's NFL could a probable 3-5 win team have a 4k yd passer not named Dan Fouts, Marino, or Jeff George.

Serious question - does a pass behind the line of scrimmage count as a TD for the QB as well as for the player that caught it?

If it's a forward pass yes. So if Smith is at the 10 yard line and the LOS is the 20 yard line and Smith it's Maclin at the 15 yard line it's a forward pass but behind the LOS. This is also known as 90% of what Smith is comfortable with.

Yup.

The pass has to move TOWARD the LOS to be considered a 'forward pass' - it doesn't have to go PAST it.
