Not sure what to think about the opportunity to go see the Chiefs on the road at the Ravens in late Dec.

Both teams stink now and being in Baltimore these days isn't very high on my "to-do" list

Never been to their stadium but the surrounding area is really cool and could be a fun place for a meet and greet for local fans here in the Northern VA or Southern MD.

Anyone else thinking of the possibility of going? :hmmm:

Might be in town for that, my girl's sister is getting married on the 10th and she's been saying she might get tickets for me

I'm checking StubHub. Ravens lose another game or two and I think these'll be some cheap seats for the game.

I'll be there! PM me when it gets closer and we can tailgate

My wife got tickets for my birthday. We are going to that game. Driving from PA that morning.

She got row 139 row 1 so she found really good tickets off of stubhub.

I'm now 95% certain I will be at this game and wanted to see about a get together at a local bar near the stadium prior to the game or even at a bar in the stadium.

I am shocked at the price of tickets to this game on all the sites I've seen. Way more expensive than the $125 I paid for a FRONT ROW ticket to Arrowhead on the Chiefs side at the 25 yard line right next to the replay booth for the Chiefs Giants a few years back.

Any local CP members have confirmed tickets to the game or strongly considering going now that we have changed course? :hmmm:

I'll be there. Just got my tickets for Section 101, Row 2. *grin* I'll be taking the light rail to the stadium - I have no interest in fighting that traffic/parking down there.

I plan on getting down to the field early to take pictures before and during the game.

Where did you buy your tickets?

If interested, I would be happy to meet you for a drink before the game. I've never been to the stadium but I've been downtown many times as well as Camden Yards. You know the area well?

Wound up going to Stub Hub. Obviously had to pay a bit more than face (plus their excessive fees :cuss:, but since I love taking sports pictures, getting down near the field was worth the effort - taking good pics from the upper deck takes a bigger lens than I'd like to carry into an enemy's stadium.

M&T Bank Stadium (or Ravens Stadium as I call it), is nice and the fans are rabid but not Philly/Oakland rabid. I've attended every Chiefs game here since 1999. You'll get your fair share of smack-talk, but I've always had a good time there and even tailgated with some of the Ravens Roosts. They're very knowledgeable fans too albeit a tad homeristic. :D I've found if you don't go out of your way to be stupid (unlike say Steelers fans here), they're a pretty easy-going group of fans. Their fan boards are definitely more reserved than this board.

Be happy to have a beer with you before the game. PM me your contact info.

Thanks for all the answers! I'm leaning towards driving to a light rail station, parking, then taking it to the stadium. I just need to make sure I don't park in a lot that has a high rate of car theft.

I'll shoot over my contact details once I purchase my ticket, likely early next week.

I'm thinking about it. I live in Glen Burnie and have a light rail stop not too far from me. The question is: do I feel like dealing with Raven's fans.

Look at this post.

It looks as though Raven's fans aren't anywhere near the nuts of other fans. With their horrible record, I don't expect it to be too bad and we are NOT the Steelers. We rarely play them.

I'd like to throw an invitation out there for the Phoenix peeps to join me for the game at a bar or something.

With possible unrest in Baltimore again due to the Freddie Gray jury ruling along with the sky high prices for any decent tickets, I've decided to stay home and watch from the comforts of my lounge chair. That will save me a lot of cash and aggravation!

Enjoy the game for those of you local CP'ers who make it out there. Maybe next time......

Sorry we'll miss sharing a beer at the game. I'll do my best to make enough noise for the both of us!

I've been there before. It's not that bad. Tailgating was fun also. Steeler fans at Heinz field are eleventy billion times worse. Those a holes were chucking ice balls at us while we were tailgating. And it came very close to fists flying.

It may not be till gameday though when I know for sure.

We got parking passes for the Horseshoe Casino lot and we can't be in there until 11am. We might just walk around and try to find some Chief fans after we park just to kill some time.

Went to a bar here to watch the Chiefs play last year, and saw a girl get punched in the eye just for wearing a jersey of the team that beat the Ravens, then he ran like a little bitch. I couldn't believe it.

Those fuckers better not lose Ravens Stadium is actually my favorite stadium that I've been to so far. Once you get parked and into Inner Harbor there's a ton of stuff to do. Hell, you could just bar hop and sight see if you want. Don't wander too far however, the good side of the tracks and the bad side of the tracks happen pretty quick.

Also, I wouldn't worry about the Freddie Gray thing. You probably won't be able to swing a dead cat without hitting either a uniformed or plain clothed police officer in the area. Inner Harbor is the only thing I miss about that shit hole of a city.

Lots to do. Have fun!

30% chance on field passes and a 50% chance my coworker takes the other one. I'll let you know if I hit the lottery.

Awesome! Sat right next to Misplaced Chiefs Fan. Very cool guy.

Highlight might have been a Raven's fan yelling at Jah Reid that the only thing he ever did when he was in Baltimore was getting arrested. Jah Reid yelled back over his shoulder "I got acquitted dude!"

There was a HUGE group of Chief's fans right behind the visitor bench. Kelce was high-fiving after.

Everyone went nuts on the 3 turnovers. Great time!

Yeah, fell through...ended up not even braving the chilly weather. Watched in my basement with said Ravens fan. Kind of a bummer...but a win nonetheless.
