Al Molinaro, passed at 96.

Loved him on Happy Days. Loved the burgers at his stand in Bannister Mall.

RIP cookie

I'm sure he wasn't like Frank Thomas of Wendy's, starting out personally cooking the burgers and building an empire, etc. But it was more than 'Paris Hilton for Carl's Jr.' doing nothing more than appearing in a commercial or two. He was the face and name of the franchise, and I'm fairly sure he got an ownership interest in the venture.

False. The picture cosmo posted of Big Al is absolutely correct. The picture you posted is actually the character Howard Cunningham, played by Tom Bosley. He was Richie and Erin's father on the show.

Since you asked, they're a couple of the leads in 'You're the Worst.'

It's a sitcom in FX where, the more you describe it, the worse [read: cliched] it sounds. But it's so superbly cast and written that it might be the best sitcom on TV right now, at least until Veep comes back.

What gives the line on the show an ironic tinge, was Barney's was at one time being infamous for not allowing gays despite being in the heart of West Hollywood.

Now here in the aughts, it's where chubbys perform fellatio on minor celebs, per the show. Can't be an accident.
