Agreed. They were talking about their catcher, I'll butcher his name, so I won't try, pitching all those innings in the long game and Every game this series affecting his swing. I wanted to scream through the TV that Salvy caught all those innings too and is hitting the ball.

Salvy epitomizes this whole team. He has a great attitude but I don't think for a second it didn't hurt him like hell to make the last out in the series last year. Sure he's not going to hit .300 for the series or anything but he has had some clutch post season hits. He's the game 4 MVP for sure

I want Salvy to beast tomorrow and win the MVP. I think he's the biggest reason this team is so relaxed and together. Love the dude. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how long he's going to last because of the beating he tskes, but he should never have to pay for anything in KC as long as he lives.

Maybe I'm a little off but I think he's got Jason Varitek type focus, control, understanding, and great feel for what his starters and bullpens can excell at and manages that pretty awesome. Varitek may not be the best or perfect comparison but he was well respected for it and he just comes to mind. Neither was bad in the batting dept either and call a great game. And both tough as nails and durable. Maybe I'm off but that's how his impact of a catcher on some great teams reminds me of. Not totally the same but great impact and big time team leaders. Hard to find and you gotta love having him as a royal
