If we're focusing on the regular season, Cueto's first start at Kauffman was nothing short of magical.

When he capped off the CGSO in front of a sellout crowd, it was the first time all season that I could see us going deep into October.

His time here was a bit rockier than expected, but he delivered when it mattered most.

Honestly, all of mine are in the playoffs:

1. Gordon's HR in Game 1.
2. Davis nutting up and getting Donaldson to end the ALCS.
3. Colon's pinch hit single in Game 5.

I consider this to be one of the most legendary moments in Royals history.

Hosmer's slide and Cain scoring from first in game 6 against Toronto. Probably cliche because those were two of the biggest moments... but they were legitimately crazy running plays that saved the day when the chips were down.

Oh shit. Eskeies in the Parker was fucking amazing. Talk about a tone setter.

In the regular season, Dysons in the Parker plus his throw out of that bitch that thought he could beat it was pretty damn cool. Also showed how deep KC truely is.

The K is a great place for a WS game. Boy oh boy.

Yep !!

I have always loved Hosmer's aggressive play all around but watching him take home in the 9th trusting his instincts that not only could he make it but more importantly trusting his instincts that it would catch Duda off guard and making Duda "doody his pants" with an errant throw and also praying that the 3rd baseman would not make a fake throw to first only then to either throw out Hosmer at home or at the very least put Hosmer in a pickle(hot box). 3rd baseman was not thinking ahead for sure. Great players take great chances though and usually are successful based on great instincts.

The game where Gordon went down with the groin injury. Dyson comes in, bases loaded, nobody out, a fly ball to Dyson, he catches it, and throws out the runner at home. Also hit a inside the park HR that game as well.

Then the following day, runner at 1st, long fly ball to Dyson and it looked like it was going to be over his head and hit off the wall, but Dyson had an extra gear, catches it over the shoulder (Willie Mays style), hits the wall, turned around, threw a perfect strike to Escobar to throw to Hosmer for the double play.

After that, I thought to myself; "Yeah, we'll be fine without Gordon for a month and a half. This is a incredulously deep (depth) team."

Mine was just after Gordon gets injured. Dyson makes an amazing throw from left field to home and gets the runner out. I had almost quit watching the game after being sick watching Gordons injury but Dyson picked the whole team up and said "I got this". Season turning moment when I realized that even with Gordon gone we would be alright

Cueto had 3 awesome performances on the big stage starting with his home debut on ESPN.

My favorite might be Hosmers double in the last game. I had little doubt that we'd win after that; we had all the momentum at that moment.

The most satisfying moment of the regular season:

sitting in the stands the night they raised the division flag. Waited 30 years for that moment.

ALDS: Five straight singles to start the 8th.

ALCS: Cain's sprint from 1st as Rusty K. says to Hos "Draw a throw, draw a throw"!!!! on the drive down the line. Then watching Bautista show why he's a dummy.

WS: Anything. The Colon PH single to give the Royals the lead.

It was huge but do you trust him and re-sign him? If I'm Moore I don't unless it is reasonable(which won't happen) and even 100mil is unreasonable based on his severe inconsistency. Yes, Queto played big when he had to but it had to be at the K. He did not pitch well on the road and I don't trust him for the long haul(next 3-5 yrs). We still need a real No.1 guy and will Glass and the boys pay the piper ? I doubt it. Your thoughts.

But it will never happen, so it's moot.

Regular season... that Esky/Infante double play, beating the Yankees 12-1 at the K, the Pirates series sticks out.

ALDS:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_WmP5D3KQEE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

ALCS: Volquez getting out of the 6th in game 1. Wade Davis shutting down the top of the order in game 2. Cain scoring from first in game 6. Watching Donaldson swing for Detroit in the 9th, a buddy texting me "swing harder, douche"... then watching him try to "just hit a single" for what looked like the first time in his life.

World Series: Winning it was fun. :D

Man, there were so many come from behinds the whole year, and the entire postseason could be a highlight reel all to itself. But the moment that struck me, and the moment I watched over and over again most of all, was the Hosmer play sliding into home in Game 5 to tie it. Not so much the play, which was fantastic, but the crowd reaction watching Duda throw wide and Hos slide in face first to tie it up with Familia on the mound. THAT is the moment for me, watching the souls of all the Mets fan being crushed, as they knew, just freaking KNEW that the inevitable was under way.

I assume people keep referring to the ground ball up the middle when Infante flipped the ball to Esky to get the runner at first but that was not a double play.

That's good. Because I have no problem re-signing him as long as we don't give him the farm expecting him to be the No.1. Because I don't live there I don't know what the underground vibe is that you guys are getting. i agree we got out of him what we needed. After all the ridiculing we gave Rios, he clutches it out and gives us the lead we needed to finally stomp Houston. Think about it, Mr. Anti-Clutch himself is giving us the lead in an elimination game? That's when I knew we could go far, that our lineup could hit anyone. I mean hell, look how fired up he is after that hit. I've never seen him have that much energy all season long.

Just rewatching some game 4 and forgot about Hosmer on 3rd in top 8th. Royals just took lead after Murphy error. 1 out. Hosmer goes 1st to third on Moose single with Cain scoring. Pickoff throw to first on Moose and Duda mishandles. Hosmer jumps down the line, nearly halfway to home. I haven't heard anyone talk about it but after rewatching it, Hoz going in game 5 in 9th to tie was probably exactly what he had been thinking about for 24hrs. At least he had a real good look and jump the day before from the exact same spot. Put the pressure on him the day before and got a read on what Duda looked like when pressured. Just interesting. Had forgot about Hoz/Duda in game 4 til tonight.

He had a number of big hits throughout the playoffs. As frustrating as he was to watch through the regular season, he helped us win a WS so he's free and clear as a favorite as far as I'm concerned.

There were SOOOO many moments that made you say WOW this season but the moment I will remember for the rest of my life was the elimination game against Houston in the ALDS.

I was just leaving St. Joe on my way to KC to finishing building this wall at my new house. I pit stopped in Menards to grab a new saw blade. Went inside just as the lead looked out of hand and felt pretty terrible.
Came back out and headed south on I-29. After about 5 minutes on the highway, I turned 610 back on just to check on the score. Still down in the 8th, but Rios coming up to bat. "****ing Rios" I thought... He should have been out the previous inning, but a baserunner was caught, forcing him up to the plate again.

Then Rios starts the line move. Hit after hit as I pump my fist out my sunroof down I-29. I'm in my car by myself screaming and cheering like I was at the K. I felt like a little kid. To come back and win that game, I knew we were winning it all. This was a team of destiny. As stupid as it sounds, I will forever live that 8th inning in my car... all by myself. I get goosebumps just typing this up.

Should be regular season games, of course everyone wil say Game 5 WS or Gamw 1 Gordon HR et al.

Best memory was the 9th inning rally in Fenway. Sunday afternoon game, down a couple, Outfante leads off with double off wall that he tries to turn into an inside the park HR. Gunned down at home with no outs and down multiple runs -, thanks Jirsh! Then the blue wave began and scored like 5 runs. Fans kept groaning with each hit, and Bronx cheered the final out. Epic

I forgot about that one. I was playing golf with my brother and was checking my phone for updates. We were down 6-4 heading to the 9th and by the time we got to the next tee we were up 8-6.
