"He's telling you, 'I'm going to play. I'm going to get back and be better than what I was. I'm going to do this,'" Reid said, "and you're looking at him going, 'All right, we'll see.'"
.......
"Let's go. We gotta get it," Berry said. "I've got to get back with my teammates because there's something special we need to do."

I can't even begin to fathom the difficulty of his journey.

If there's a God, he will let Berry finish his mission.

Why Not?

What an amazing person! I agree with the commenter there who said to forget about comeback player of the year, Berry is the comeback player of all time.

LEGEND.

First ballot HOFer.

The way he has been playing the last 3 weeks is the best ball of his career and inspires the whole defense to play at another level.

I hope they give Eric Berry a lifetime contract before the playoffs.

Berry, although he has been with us a short amount of time, is my favorite Chief all-time. His character and leadership are unparalleled. He is the epitome of class. Keep kicking ass, Berry.

My favorite part of the article is the workouts with his trainer. The trainer goes easy on him day one and Berry gets pissed. Goes for 2 hours the next morning in a workout I'm sure would make most of us pass out. Berry asks on his own what time to be back, then shows up an hour early to do his own work on the same afternoon. The mental and physical toughness to put your body through all that is incredible to me.

another poster who doesn't post the entire article in the OP.

smh...and yes I'm too lazy to click the link and I'm proud of it.

good story btw. Glad to have Berry back, he seems now to have gotten back into the swing of things and is starting to shine again.

hope he's willing to restructure his contract for the greater good of the team, because the Chiefs will need him to

Damn.

Great, great read.

The article and the posts here. He's a special dude. Not just player.

He's got that Jerry Rice drive. One in million+talent=1 in a billion.

Some would say it's shitty to post the full text since news outlets rely on the ad revenue to survive.

Yeah, I'm liking him alot.
