It's back and ready to take all manner of stupid picks in order to get the Chiefs to being the #1 seed in the AFC.

Remaining games for:

Chiefs (5-5):

hosting Bills -- favored
visiting Raiders -- favored
hosting Chargers -- favored
visiting Ravens -- favored
hosting Browns -- favored
hosting Raiders -- favored

Bills (5-5):

visiting Chiefs
hosting Texans -- favored
visiting Eagles
visiting Redskins
hosting Cowboys -- favored
hosting Jets -- favored

Jets (5-5):

hosting Dolphins -- favored
visiting Giants
hosting Titans -- favored
visiting Cowboys
hosting Patriots
hosting Bills -- favored

Texans (5-5):

hosting Saints -- favored
visiting Bills
hosting Patriots
visiting Colts
visiting Titans -- favored
hosting Jaguars -- favored

Steelers (6-4):

visiting Seahawks
hosting Colts -- favored
visiting Bengals
hosting Broncos -- favored
visiting Ravens -- favored
visiting Browns -- favored

Forget the other 5-5 teams, as far as standings are concerned. Play the way we're supposed to, and we've got a seed locked up.

The Steelers, however, should be very wary that we overtake them for that 5th slot.

Edit: Assuming we beat Buffalo, we'll have the head-to-head tie-breaker with the Bills, Texans, and Steelers.

All we have to do is catch the Steelers. We don't even have to pass them.

That's always been fun to use for breaking out scenarios. It really shows how important the Bills game is too, you can get KC to 10-6 a few ways with a Bills loss, mixed with other things with teams and KC doesn't advance. This week is huge.

I think the Jags have a great shot down the stretch to win their division, that would be cool.

According to this, IF the Chiefs win out, and IF Donkeys go 3-3. we win the tiebreakers.

We can only hope.

4 home games left out of 6. That is a bonus. Every other team is either split or has more road games.

How are the Cowboys favored over the Panthers today but not over the Jets in two weeks?

Maybe you can ask the NFL to move the game there.

I just can't envision the Chiefs losing to the Raiders this season.

If Alex Smith plays at the same level he's been playing at for the last 4 games, which is not great, but credible, this team can win out.

I said it 2 weeks ago.
This Biffalo game is the pivitol game.

We're the Andy Reid Chiefs. We lose to the Raiders. It's what we do.

An interesting game to watch is the Denver @ San Diego matchup (I think it's Week 14). I know Denver is a heavy favorite to win that game, but it DOES seem to be a crux game for the division title. There aren't many likely scenarios I've ran where the Broncos lose that game and still win the division. And that also accounts for the Chiefs dropping a game and going 10-6.

We're gonna steamroll them and get that BS monkey off our back if we get that matchup.

TBH, I still think there's a decent chance we win this division.

If a the Brincos lose to NE, Pitt and Cincy and we win out we win the division.

No, we wouldnt.

It would go off common opponent record then, which would leave us a game behind. They have to lose 4, the chiefs win out, or the drop a game to a division team giving us a better division record.

I never pay attention to how they determine tie breakers, but I thought after division record, the second tie breaker would be conference record.

So essentially, if they win the 3 division games left on the schedule, they win the division.
