I went out to San Diego a couple of years ago and my Son and I (he's in the Navy - a Lt Commander) went to the San Diego State/Navy game. Navy spanked SD State, but it gave me a chance to see Qualcomm - my God what a dump.

I'm not sure about that...if it wasn't for the military build up of post WW-II communist Soviet Russia, we most likely would have reverted to the pre-WWI isolationistic bearing that this country maintained since the Revolutionary War (for the most part).

Commies are renowned for their desire for nationalistic military build up.

If you love celebrating your tax dollars being funneled towards the military industrial complex that drives this nation, then you should tip your hat towards the communists of Soviet Russia and Red China. You owe them your air craft carriers, cruisers and battleships that are basically antiquated 20th century dinosaurs that really don't have much place in the modern world.
