Who do we want to win this game? We still have a shot at the division, but may also be Pitt's last opportunity for a loss!

I can't bring myself to cheer for Denver so I want Pitt to crush them

Strictly based on what optimizes our chances of making the playoffs? Root for Denver.

Based on what is ingrained into my brain permanently? A Denver loss is never a bad thing.

Why would you want arguably the most difficult opponent to be in the way of a KC super bowl appearance?

Patriots
Pittsburgh
Denver
Colts
Jets

If the Pats don't get/stay healthy then Pittsburgh could very well be the hardest opponent for KC.

Pittsburgh. If Pittsburgh wins we have a really good shot at the division. And there would also be a chance Denver misses the playoffs completely.

If we had some good teams left on our schedule I'd root for Denver but we should be able to take care of business and win out. If we can't what were we going to do in the playoffs anyway?

Plus, now that the Jets "won," If KC loses and PITT wins, then KC is on the outside looking in at the playoffs. So, it's in the Chiefs best interest, at the present time, for Denver to win.

I would rather Denver wins....KC has already proven they are the better team this year. Broncos arent going anywhere in the post-season but the Steelers might...Denver is a non-factor. They haven't scored a TD in almost 2 full games. They are sucking when it matters most. Jets look like dog-shit too.

Assmeller or Big Ben? I think the answer is obvious...

Pitt has been playing the best football on both sides of the ball of late with the Hawks a close 2nd followed by the Cards and then Carolina(only because of schedule) Pitt,Hawks and Cards would beat Carolina if they played tomorrow IMO. They would be close games don't get me wrong. But no, I do not want to see Pitt in the playoffs because right now they are on FIRE !! And we do not have the offense to keep up and with Houston out that means our D is on the field 2/3rds of the game.

It should but what I worry about is a let down because of the lack of a Balt offense and we see the Chiefs play down just like they did last week.

The Chiefs have a 51.03% possession percentage for the season. TOP hasn't really been a problem since Houston has been out either. We were slightly under 50% for the Raiders and Chargers games, but not a lot. The defense has not been on the field 2/3 of the time.

We likely wouldn't see them in the playoffs til the AFCCG if we get 5th seed or win the division. We'd have to win the division and they would have to lose to Cleveland or the Ravens giving them the 6th seed.

We could face them in the 1st rd if Cinci beats SF and loses to Denver and the Ravens.

That's the even bigger worry. Doesn't matter who you are, winning 10 straight in the NFL is tough. Real tough. If we do that it's an amazing accomplishment. Doesn't matter who you beat.

Other than Den and Pitt we really haven't played well vs. winning teams.

The Cinci and GB games really weren't as close as the score would suggest.

I don't agree with the idea that we beat up on cup-cakes so we're not a "real" contender. We don't pick our schedule. I'd rather be rolling at the end and hit the playoffs hot than starting hot and fizzle out as we hit the post season...

I hope they lose out. It's the only way to be sure Irsay will put down the pills long enough to clean house and bring in someone competent.

The Colts have allowed 50 points in a game 9 times since 1963. 4 of those have been since Pagano's been the coach.

He's a good motivator and a good coordinator but a horrible horrible coach.

Confidence is a hell of a thing. We may have limped into those games, but they seem to think they can hang with the best. I can't wait to see how that translates in a playoff atmosphere.

Yes I believe that if the Jets lose to NE and we beat Cleveland we would clinch at least the 6th seed. Playing @HOU with the 5 seed is a pretty big potential advantage however. Still important for KC to win out.

Yes. One loss, by either Pittsburgh or the Jets, combined with a KC win and the Chiefs clinch a spot.
