I LOVED it when he did the Ray Lewis dance after that pick six.

Peters is a baiting motherfucker too. I like that.

As I said, when he learns to play tighter on guys, he's got the chance to be the best CB in the NFL (if he doesn't pull a Sprewell and implode).

He's been baiting QB's all season. He's gotten better at it the second half but he does need to also learn to just get up in a dudes jock as well as play off and lead the QB to throw. He's not going to win them all and has given up uneccessary yardage at times.

Does Manning gesture at his WR in the second pick, like it was the receiver's fault?

How many has he returned for a TD? Four of eight?

My favorite is when he gave the ball to Andy.

I think that was an important move for the entire team. Team was really sliding at that point and fans were starting to get on Reid a bit. Peters is obviously a savvy guy and that was a big deal in my eyes to show the world that Reid still had this team and that they were behind him and playing hard for him.

My favorite moment of the season actually.

That INT against Bridgewater was child's play. He's watching the QB the whole way, he knows he has Berry over the top and is running step for step with his guy. As soon as Bridgewater starts his motion, Peters releases his guy and just stands there waiting for the ball.

Oh. In that case, he really needs to step up his game.

Probably one of the more incredible feats to accomplish during a football game and you want more?

Oh, and if people didn't think Sorensen wasn't athletic or fast, watch at about 3:00 minute mark on the Bridgewater INT pick six.

Step for step with Peters all the way down the field.

That was mine as well, and that was exactly what went through my mind when he did it. He is smarter than people think he is, he was absolutely making a statement with that move.

What a fantastic draft pick.

It was. Took a lot of balls to pull the trigger on him.

Dorsey has done a pretty good job so far.

Whoops! That's another thread entirely.

Sorry Marcus.

I haven't bought a jersey since I scored a authentic replica throwback of Neil Smith about 8 years ago; but IF I were to drop any coin on one it would be from the list below (in no particular order)

Peters
Berry

So I have, in the past, studied CB play.

One reason is that I played some in HS and they tried me there in college and I was terrible.
Fucking terrible. Played S OK. Not well enough to start because my body couldn't handle the beating, but I could play in a pinch.

Anyway, It seems like all the really good ones can play zone OR man with their eyes on the QB more than the WR
Not very many payers can do this. Most DB's, in man, only look at the WR and then turn and look for the ball as a reaction to the WR.

These players rarely have to turn and look for the ball, because they usually see it leave the QBs hands.
So if it's off the mark, they can easily go snatch it without the WR even being able to contest him for it.

nice video. . this guy is playing great .. and seems to have his character issues in check. .

i think KC was the perfect place for him. . Playing under a players coach like Andy and being surrounded by leaders like Hali, Houston, DJ, and Berry really helps this kid. .

I agree, most CB's can't get away with watching the QB, but Peters has the skill to play a WR and watch the QB. Uncanny

@1:37 in OP vid, excellent work by Peters and excellent work by the camera crew isolating what was so very veteran and savvy about that particular pick. 99/100 DBs, let alone rookies, are nowhere near that pick.

For some reason, this version of the song is missing the backup singers. Seems like a perfect candidate for someone to dub in 'Hooo Boy' in place of their 'woo hoos'
