Vegas current AFC odds make little sense but here they are...

http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/futures/

ODDS TO WIN 2015 AFC CHAMPIONSHIP (1/24/16)
Team Odds

New England Patriots 5/4
Pittsburgh Steelers 5/1
Cincinnati Bengals 11/2
Denver Broncos 11/2
Kansas City Chiefs 9/1
New York Jets 15/1
Houston Texans 25/1
Indianapolis Colts 1000/1

I would have it this way...

1. Pats
2. Chiefs
3. Jets
4. Bengals
5. Broncos
6. Texans
7. Steelers
8. Colts

I feel New England is the obvious top choice but that the Chiefs and Jets are the hottest teams. Cinci, Denver and Houston all have major QB issues, Steelers need help to get in and the Colts are a long shot's dream I guess at 1000 to 1

thoughts on these odds?

IF Hali and Houston are both healthy- our odds go up. If not-that is probably about right.

LOL at Pats being a top favorite.
Brady cant salvage that crap in the post season.
Their best player is a slow lumbering white guy.

I agree. Giving H&H 8 more days to heal would be ideal.

I wouldn't put KC at 2 until we've beaten a better team. Last good team we beat was Dungver.

True, it's very up and down for most AFC teams, but given our playoff record I'm trying not to get my hopes too high. Can't believe this team has done that to me. Hope we can break that fucking curse this year.

Edelman
McCourty
Amendola
Chung
Vollmer

All are expected back, based upon reports (getting hard and fast confirmations out of Gillette is damn near impossible). When looking at their top players in terms of game plan and game play, that will leave them with all but Lewis, Blount and Solder having returned, and Jackson looks as if he'll at least be good enough to approximate what Blount would have been able to bring to the table.

but truth is we don't know and right now they are a bit unhealthy. If they come back 100% they are clear favorite....if not the AFC is WIDE open

s***....I should be hired by NFL.com (they mustve modeled their power rankings off of my post)

But seriously....the Jets lost by a touchdown in New England mid season 30-23...now they won against them 26-20 winning by walk off touchdown pass in OT. They have proven they can play with New England. If they get by Buffalo its a 6 game winning streak. They could be tough

They are tough. All they needed all year was a QB and now that Mensa-beard has his $#it together they're hard to beat...

Four of their offensive starters that were out will all be back by their first playoff game.

If you think the Pats team you saw during their rough stretch in the regular season is what you'll be in the playoffs you're hitting the pipe...

nope, they will be rusty and unprepared.

apparently not, because everyone else won without one / a starter.

and the Pats lost to 3 back up caliber QBs.
