That according to an awesome Sports Illustrated interview (http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/12/29/derrick-johnson-kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-playoffs) with Derrick Johnson. (You should read it, it's really awesome.)

Keep in mind, we lost Charles in what, Week 5? How the **** is that possible?

Have either of our RBs even had a 100 yard game since Week 6?

This is bullshit.

I've read on the CP that the offense sucks.

If this statistic is true, than we should really be having a more serious conversation about re-signing Jeff Allen.

The bulk of the work here has been done with him at LG, Fisher at LT, Morse at C, LDT at RG, and Reid at RT.

"We know we still control our destiny. We’re in a heck of a spot right now. Of course we can move up in the seedings, but at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter the [seed] that you go into the playoffs with. Our mindset is if we’re going to go, we’re trying to win it all. However it unfolds, we’ve got to win it all."

I love the teams mentality this year... They all seem to really be on the same page. I think this is our year. Gotta get that first playoff win under our belt though. I'm $&@!ing excited for the possibilities. More than I've ever been.

This team is quietly very, very good. I think we all suspected it before the season and it's nice to see it happen. I think they're even better than we thought.

the best running back on this team is Da God Alex Smith

This team is like the early Patriots teams....efficient, ball control. Don't make mistakes and close games out. Very understated back then..nobody thought they were very good. They just kept winning though...

It's a strange phenomenon. Sure feels like we go stretches without being able to pick up anything but minimal yds per gain.. or even losses. :hmmm:

The Browns game screwed with your head. The whole O was ass.

Otherwise we have been solid on the ground. We won't be top form till Ware is, though.

That dude changes everything IMO. We struck gold on that guy.

I think Jeff Allen is a decent player if he can stay healthy. But that's the problem. He's always injured.

Maybe. I know that at the end of many games, our rush totals look sweet. Even aside from that Browns game, I see plenty of runs that go for minimal or lossed yards for stretches of a game and in plenty of overall possessions.

Then, Ware or West will rip off a big run, and skew the numbers. Again, maybe that's just how it seems.

i agree. .i think West is overrated ..

I think if healthy Ware could be a good back but way too little games played to make that call. .

our run game has looked pretty suspect as of late with the exception of some big runs . .

Oh no. I don't agree that West is overrated. I think he's a fine RB, but gets shut down often enough due to an +/or of shit OL blocks / predictable playcalls.

Alex Smith only needs 63 yards rushing to get 500 on the season. He's #4 in QB rushing yards this year, behind Newton, Wilson, and Taylor. Not bad.
