DNP:
Morse (concussion)
Ford (concussion)
Abdullah (not injury related)
Hali (rest I would presume)

Maclin returns to practice, as Houston and Jah Reid are back for a consecutive day. Go Chiefs!

Morse and Ford need to be cleared to play. We need them both. Not concerned over Hali and Abdullah. They'll both be good to go.

So, Justin Houston has a green light? Not even on injury report?

Really hoping Morse plays. My biggest concern this game is the Chiefs offensive line vs. their pass rush.

He's practicing for the 3rd straight day... It's playoff time... If I had to guess he could have played a week ago or two. He'll be there Saturday.

I have a sinking feeling Morse will be out. This is his second concussion of the season.

Really need both Morse and Ford. Hali looked like shit on Sunday with one hand, so having Ford there to rotate with him could be huge.

I'm afraid you're right.

I don't think we really need Ford if Houston can play, he's more of a luxury. Morse we definitely need, at least IMHO.

We need everyone we can get.

I'm not so sure Morse is any sort of must have Saturday.... He'd be the preference, but Fulton isn't bad at center. He's actually looked solid there.

He has, but going against Watt and Wilfork I'd just as soon have my starter out there.

We should update the Texans here also

Though it really sucks having anyone hurt, having only two guys hurt (one of which is a starter) is really pretty solid for this time of the year.

Justin Houston on whether he will play Saturday: "That's the plan."

Morse will not play. The man will not be able to spell his own name if he keeps getting brain bruises.

Pretty much. Whether we want him out there or not, should probably accept that it's not happening.

Ya that's sucks but it being his 2nd concussion I wouldn't play him either. Hopefully Fulton can step in and play well.

Houston says he will have some rust.. Will be shaken off by end of first quarter... Takes time to adjust to the brace which is what the practice was for.

He has, but going against Watt and Wilfork I'd just as soon have my starter out there.

Wilfork isn't a mover at this stage of his career and Fulton is probably as good as Morse "in a phone booth".

My concern is Jah Reid blocking JJ Watt and I think if Ford can play, we can keep Houston to under 10 points.

If we score 20, we win.

Id rather start Stephenson at RT

I agree. Fulton has been solid at C. He did a great job in Oakland. Wilfork is a good match up for him bc he's just strong and not an athletic freak anymore due to age.

Am I the only one who's at least a little bit worried Houston won't be himself come game time? I mean he's been out for 6+ weeks... and then there's Hali with his hand.

We really need Ford tbh.

It's very possible he could be rusty, but a rusty Houston is better than most players.

They said they let Hali just shake the rust off last week so I presume he's ready to assume normal duties... Houston will be fine after a drive or two, if that. He's a generational talent.

Calvin Johnson is thinking about retirement

Clowney and Nate Washington did not practice today but both are expected to play Saturday. Even if though, can't be 100%.

Could be a tactic to prevent contract renegotiation.

Is Clowney ever 100%?

To be honest, I don't expect Houston and Hali to come off the field unless the defense cannot get a stop and they need a breater...even if Ford is 100%.

Has Abdullah practiced since his concussion? I know he's currently out due to his father passing, but I can't imagine him playing much with all the time and practice he's missed.

He had a limited practice last Thursday and Friday. That's it.

When the hell did Ford suffer his concussion? I saw nothing in the game and he was celebrating in the locker room like normal.
