This SUCKS BUT KC has faced this and overcame it with Fulton. We're OK.

Ignoring Charles (who has been gone for the entire win streak), we're only missing DAT and Morse for this game. That's honestly not bad at all.

Yep. Have successfully played through the Morse injury at times this season. Wish the same could be said for DAT. But haven't had him virtually all season, so no biggie there either.

Bummer, but I agree with the above-stated sentiments. We can overcome that.

Great draft pick, though. Dorsey had a nice draft this past year, I'd say.

Fulton is a very different center but i'm not sure he isn't just as good as Morse.

Fulton = power
Morse = quickness,feet

Why i still not sure that Morse shouldn't be a guard and Fulton our center. Fulton is a brick house who can handle the big NTs all by himself. Morse speed and feet would be dynamic for us at guard.

Morse isn't just speed and quickness. He's very good against power, resetting and anchoring.

He's been great at center

Fulton was good for a game, but I think his power is overrated a bit.

Speed and quickness isn't going to be the way to beat Wilfork though. I think Fulton being in against him is a blessing in disguise.

I'm surprised by the "questionable" designations. In regular season games I'd say more often than not a "questionable" reporting leads to that player NOT playing that week.

There's no way in hell that Tamba doesn't play. The other two are probably just because they haven't gotten much work in practice, but I'd be really surprised if they didn't suit up.

absolutely, Hali might not be ready to take full game reps but he will play

I bet Ford does the same

1/2 Hali and 1/2 Ford, both guys dinged up so they share the reps

If we lose tomorrow it'll be because the oline fell apart.

Not nearly as confident as some of you appear to be.

Oline is the key, said in game prediction thread beginning of the week.

I just don't think that center is the problem.

We are viable 2-deep at center with Morse and Fulton.

It's RG and RT that are weak ... health at LG that is a major concern.

If our Oline holds their own against texans front 7 we should win.

Dline is the heart of the Houston team

If the KC defense is plugged in, I just don't expect Hoyer and Co. to put up more than 17-20 points. I do expect our offense to do 20+ points.. even if assisted by the D for a score or great field position leading to a score.

If we can manage to run the ball with any competency.. KC will likely dominate by 2 or 3 scores all game long.

You got to respect the concussion protocol. Too many of these guys in their 50's can't even make it back from the grocery store.

Dline is the heart of the Houston teamHouston is the top defense in the NFL the last 9 weeks. But, ours isn't too shabby and we have a better offense.

The average as been 12.8 over the last 10 games and you think that Brian Hoyer is going to score 17-20?

:spock:

During our win steak we faced:

Matthew Stafford: 10 points
Landry Jones: 13 points
Peyton Manning: 0 points
Brock Osweiler: 13 points*
Philip Rivers: 3 points
Derek Carr: 20 points
Tyrod Taylor: 22 points
Philip Rivers: 3 points
Jimmy Clausen: 14 points**
Johnny Manziel: 13 points
Derek Carr: 10 points

* Scored after Manning benching against our back-ups.
** Scored half these on Hail Mary.

I like Brian Hoyer more than most around here, but can you honestly say he's in the top half of that list? We've give up 121 points to those 11 QBs -- 11.0 ppg average. Against QBs on the road we surrendered only 10 ppg average.

Sandy Vagina

I'm not expecting Hoyer to put up a big day.. just allowing for the possibility of some unexpected "because Chiefs" is all. Still think we got this.. even if.

Parker has done an admirable job playing the slot for Gaines, who was really good before he got hurt. Wish we had him this month.

I also miss O'Shags. He's a very similar receiver to Kelce. He was open a lot and was easily outrunning LB's when he had the ball.

Yeah, because you can predict a player's propensity to accrue concussions.

Yep. Better anchor and power to move him a bit. Should benefit the run success.. but might worsen the pass pro.
