I seriously can't choose one guy. Like most of our wins during this streak, we're winning it as a team. Certain guys are a bit more important than others at times but..

If I was forced to choose I guess I'd say Kelce. Alex took far too long to get the offense in gear tonight. Ware, Santos and everyone on defense would probably come up next in honorable mentions.

That's a hard decision, which is wonderful. When the whole team contributed (other than Albert Wilson), the whole team deserves it.

On an individual basis, it's hard to not make it a defensive player given the shutout, and Marcus Peters jumps out as a candidate. But how do you vote against Alex? Or Kelce?

I don't think I can even cast a vote. I love them all.

after a shaky start, Alex Smith turned it around.
Eric Fisher went up against the best in the league and only lost once the entire game, i think.
Ware lived up to his nickname "WareBeast"
Kelce stepped up when Maclin went down
Sean Smith and Marcus Peters were rock solid

so many good players ... team win ... give it to John Dorsey for assembling such a strong roster.

I'd want to give it to the defense, and if I have to pick one player, that'd be Eric Berry. Several key tackles plus had the pick. Plus, he's clearly the emotional energy to the lifeblood of this defense.

Kelce, Alex, and the offensive line are honorable mentions.

He saved a long Hopkin's TD on a screen on 3rd down in the 3rd quarter as well. If he misses that tackle, Hopkin's houses it.

The defense played great today, and a big reason for that was the fact that Poe was blowing up everything in the middle, disrupting everything that the Texans were trying to do on offense.

It's hard to pick out one guy in a team effort like this, but he would be my choice.

2. Kelce.

Got a look at the Hoyer fumble, and it was clearer on review, Poe didn't absorb it. When he went to his back, the ball was in the crook of his left elbow. So he had it between his side-titty-meat and his left upper arm as he rolled onto his back.

The whole D-Line got good push, Poe, Bailey, and Howard all rushed well. Eric Berry seemed to be all over the place though.

With Abdullah's dad passing and Tamba Jr being born, there had to be so much energy and emotion fueling the team. This was just a great overall team win, minus Wilson of course

He should get the most carries. Watching your RB bulldoze a safety seems to provide a mental edge to an offense that a speed/slasher back doesn't.

01-10-2016, 05:10 AM
Hoyer to be honest. He's the ultimate reason why the Chiefs won, and shut them out for that matter. I dont think he'll ever start for another team again after that performance...certainly not w/ the Texans. Kudos to the Chiefs defense to take advantage of that, but they're not going to have that luxury playing the best QB of the last 15 yrs in Foxboro. Chiefs need to bring and wear their big boy pants and bring it to the Pats like they did last year at Arrowhead..and I'm sure the Pats will be reminded of that game for extra bulletin board motivation. Hope we can sneak out a win and PIT beat Denver and we get to play an AFCC game at Arrowhead holy shit that would be badass.

Knile Davis or Kelce get the nod for runner up. Starting the game off w/ a kickoff return to the house is a major momentum boost. Gives the offense a little breathing room. And no one could really stop Kelce...Texans have had issues all season stopping TE's, and had issues stopping Kelce in wk1...this game really was no different other than Kelce not getting into the endzone.
