Objectively, this is huge. I'm still high of KU-OU and the WS, and I'm expecting more.

Today was taking care of business. We like to moan about fate and such, but these guys are too young to be hamstrung with that, and Reid is used to too much more success to make this some pinnacle.

I won't lie, I she'd a few tears after Ware's TD. That was ballgame l, IMO. I don't follow any sports teams aside from the Chiefs, so I've waited a loooooong time for any postseason success. It was too much.

I was too drunk to even remotely absorb what I just witnessed. It's beginning to hit home today. I just don't know how to handle a 19 week (hopefully a 21 week) Chiefs season.

I started to drink pretty heavily once we had all of those turnovers and only 13 points to show for it. It was a preemptive attempt to shield myself.

I didn't even cry when the Royals won. I did cry when the Jayhawks win in 2008, because they came back so late and it had been 20 years since one of my teams had won a championship.

I don't think I have any tears left for any teams.

From the point he went out, that's pretty much how I felt. It was hard to enjoy the shutout win because I was already worried about next week.

BUT...we are catching the Cheatriots at the perfect time. They are wounded, and our strengths will take advantage of their weakness, namely, how they aren't able to protect Brady.

We may not NEED him until the Super Bowl, if Pittsburgh takes care of business like they should in Denver. But then...every time I think that we can't beat Denver without JMac, that their D is just too good...I have to remind myself that we already went to Denver this year and beat them without Maclin.

At what part did you cry???

I jumped up and screamed and spun around twice at the opening kickoff.

But then I knew they were going to win, so it was fun watching the Defense toy with poor Hoyer. I almost felt sorry for him, but he's healthy and rich, so...when Maclin got hurt, I was too worried about next week to cry.

So, I'm just wondering, at what point did you cry??

I didn't cry. I thought I would, but like others have said, it was such an ass whooping that it didn't have that late game emotional edge that most games tend to have. After we went up 20-0 it was clearly over because Houston wasn't about to mount an Andrew Luck comeback. And the Maclin injury kinda hindered the victory mood. I'm glad it's not an ACL though.
