I love this team and can't wait for the 2016-2017 season, but this hurts...

11 wins in a row sets some expectations.

Because for me Alex smith will still be behind center for the 2016 and 2017 seasons :(

Great season for you guys. We will try to take down the Steelers and then take out NE for you. Good luck next year!

Why Not?

Two things:

1. It always sucks to have your season end

2. This is probably the ceiling of the Andy Alex combo

Because as long as Brady and Belichick are together in the league, there's no reason to even have a season.

Hold the phone. Do you think we're going to want Denver to win against NE? No fucking way.

This is pretty true. Just have the NFC play the regular season

I hate to say it but you might be right AS off just a little when it matter in the redzone plus the mismanagement of the clock at the end of the game..

And I'll be calling our offense Craptasic until the day he retires at least Ravens/Bucs knew Johnson/Dilfer sucked

Probably because we were a talented team that was ravaged by injuries.

Because this was winnable. Because we didn't play to the level we are capable of. It hurts because they had something special happening and they let it slip through their hands, literally in the case of Peters. We lost to the likely AFC Superbowl team by 7 points because we couldn't figure out coverage, or where the game clock is located in Gillette stadium and because stupid ass fumbles continue to doom an otherwise awesome team.

It also hurts because we didn't get to bring our best team to the field. When you are missing the likes of Maclin, Ware, Houston, Charles and who knows how many others you are handicapped from the get go. That is literally 60% of our fucking salary watching from the sidelines or a TV screen and we just about held our own against the highest skilled team in the league. If we get the whole package healthy into January I have no doubt Alex can make it to a Super Bowl in Kansas City. Andy needs to possibly relinquish play calling duties as well.

I was 11 when we lost in the AFCC game but this is worse I realize that you don't get many chances at this. Tom B is great I hate that we beat us but he is awesome. Amendola is a punk that hit should have fired them up I was ready to kill after that hit. I'm drained this was so bittersweet they looked great up till this point but lost to the champs. GO CHIEFS!!

Definitely some missed opportunities. That fumble to start the second half was killer.

It hurts because this is about the best were gonna do playing it safe , game managing.....

And yet that's what we have in store.

It hurts because it seemed like we were better...but we aren't.

My biggest fear is we're going to let Hunt allow Reid to continue as coach until he buries us again. Dorsey needs to step up and make things change.

We don't play any better with Houston, Maclin, Ware and Jamaal?

That should make cap management a breeze this offseason.

How many of you guys gave up on this team after 1-5? I did. This playoff loss sucks, but i'm happy at the same time. That last playoff game to the Colts killed me. Couldn't care less about this team till meow.

We haven't watched our team lose in almost 3 months.

It still doesn't hurt that bad, though. Bright future ahead.

ROFL ROFL Trent 'never won a single playoff game' Green?

This is nowhere near the most painful playoff loss:

Kicker who shall not be named
Greg Robinson no punt
28 point blown lead

Now those were painful

This one was more painful than the Cassel playoff game vs Baltimore or the year Herm backed in because those teams were frauds.

Add this one to the list:
Playoff Loss Christmas Day 1971 - another game we lost due to a kicker missing more than one chip shot
