Hey, at least we kicked the shit out of the eventual Super Bowl champion?

We did that last year too!!

We won a playoff game.

Eventually Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will retire?

I'll see the Chiefs with a Super Bowl before I die, right?

At least Pat Bowlen won't remember this one?!

Moral victories all up in here!!!

Golden Years of Chiefs' football.

Seven games above .500 and a .333 postseason record in three seasons.

This is sad. Moral victory thread? I wish we had an owner that wanted to win the SB every year like other teams do.

I couldn't agree more, its not like we squeaked one out against Denver, we absolutely crushed them and it was one of the worst losses in Denver in the last 30 years.

Are the Chiefs better than Denver, absolutely, but they won the superbowl so I guess there is a little moral victory in there.

On a side note comparing the Rockies to the Royals and Chiefs to the Broncos (K.C.>Denver)

Chiefs are probably going to win the moral victory again next year too when they beat another eventual SB champ during the season

After the performance we witnessed in the SB... it's not far fetched...

After 46 years of waiting for just one Super Bowl appearance, our measurement of success is as low as the gutter. Pretty sad.....

Manning is history. Any team that brings him in as the QB better have a great back up QB and an epic defense because Manning is going to throw a lot of INTs. It's been fun, at times, with Manning and the Broncos have won a lot of games. That being said, the first round chokes were no fun at all. Elway canned Fox and then hired Kubiak who basically carried Manning on his back to a SB victory.

Watching Denver win that game made me hate the Chiefs even more.

The Donkeys just won with a great defense and a QB that they wouldn't even let throw the ball and who played like shit all year, while we waited 22 years to see one measly playoff victory.

22 more years to win an AFC Championship, followed by a soul crushing Super Bowl loss?

Yup, very likely.

Second best team in the division wins a title. Must be nice buying a golden boy the league fixes games for.

Freaking dorks. Big deal we beat them too but it doesn't mean crap.

But you didn't have a better division record, or a winning record, or even a winning record in the division, or a shot at anything. It was just another losing season. So I can understand why it certainly didn't mean crap for you.

I think the real difference was that we completely destroyed them. I mean it wasn't even a game. One of the worst losses in the last 30 years for them at home. Once we got our **it together we were clearly a better team. That is what hurts the most is when you know you are the better team.

Next year will be very different for them as Manning isn't coming back ( most likely) and Brock is a complete tool who is a bottom 5 starting QB in the league. I hope they tie him up long term.

I think a BIG deal for them will be that while they'll always be a "have" franchise, they won't have a HOF QB and all the league perks that go along with that.
