Chase Daniel will compete with Bradford for the starting job, and I'm betting he wins.

Paxton Lynch will not get past the 15th pick in the draft.

Murray and Bray will compete for the backup spot in KC, and the loser will probably get cut in favor of a 4th round or later draft pick.

Chase will do everything right in Philly and Roseman will pull a Scooter Pioli and force Pederson to play his 26 million dollar man.

Philadelphia is not going to the Super Bowl, especially with Chase F-ing Daniel, any time soon.

Also p.s. Daniel sucks.

Exactly. Especially in a year where we should be contending.

I hope you are wrong about this- I was in high school the last time the Chiefs drafted a QB in the first round.

They are way over due. One more year of the game manager while Paxton learns-then start him.

Yeesh. The market for QB's is apparently insane this year.

Eagles are paying 30 million to QBs on their roster currently

I know they will cut Sanchez but still. Bradford & Chase are being paid as 1 elite QB lol

So is it 21 million deal or 36

So is it 21 million deal or 36

Since it's only $12 million guaranteed, it's probably a 2 year, $12 million dollar deal plus base pay.

Good for him.

I think he was severely undervalued by Chiefsplanet because of Missouri bias.

I hope that Murray/Bray/Signee/Draftee will perform to his level (or beyond) if necessary.

Definitely confusing. I'm assuming it's 21 with some sort of escalators if he ends up starting.

he started 2 games in 3 years...he was irrelevant, we could paid any piece of shit to do the same

Chase is a great backup IMO and was great to see him in a Chiefs uniform but I think he was smart to go to Philly. Bradford is made of glass and CD will likely get quite a bit of playing time there. Chase has gotta be closing in on 20million for career earnings...not to shabby for a guy many thought wouldn't even make a NFL roster.

No way we get Lynch. We don't have enough to get up that high but I bet Smellway cheats his way up and doesn't get caught and they nab Lynch.

I disagree.

Daniel could have started and won games last year for Cleveland, Philly, Houston and others.

I'm glad he didn't go to Denver because he fits Kubiak's bootleg offense perfectly.

6 foot quarterbacks with squirt gun arms and minimal starting experience are a rarity in today's NFL. Dane is right, him being from Mizzou absolutely makes him undervalued on a Missouri based football team.
