Had a friend who met him on a hiking trail in the back country on Montana a few years ago. Said he was awesome and talked a long time with them around a scenic point. Owns some nice acreage up in Montana and lives there a large portion of the year.

I do - because it's interesting. Dave was (is) a very funny guy that spent a lot of time on screen. We saw him often so it's interesting to see what he's doing now. Why are you so grumpy?

Wish David didn't think of his job as being "insignificant" I mean he brought laughter to a lot of people in his time on TV and I think that's important and significant accomplishment. No ones going remember or know my name but people will always remember David Letterman.
