Which one? "It's Garry Shandling's Show" or "The Larry Sanders Show"? Or both?

I liked both, but Larry Sanders for me was one of the funniest shows ever.

Yep, he never got the accolades he deserved as a comedian.

RIP.

A little known fact is that he got his start by writing episodes of Sanford and Son. He was in his 20's then.

Sad massive heart bomb RIP. The Larry Sanders Show was so good. If I remember right Gary Shandling was another talent discovered on the Carson Show and became a guest host.

His face looked all puffy and red that last few years. I wonder if it was because of high blood pressure or heart related issues.

Man, in that segment referencing the death of Robin Williams age with the reporters talking about how young he was, Larry says " You have to die in your 60's for somebody to say, He's too young ".

Gary was 66.

This just outright sucks. I've always loved his comedy, his first sitcom for Showtime was very good, The Larry Sanders Show is legendary, his stint on X-Files ridiculously entertaining, as was his movie, What Planet Are You From?

RIP.

A little known fact is that he got his start by writing episodes of Sanford and Son. He was in his 20's then.

I just heard that fact yesterday while watching "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" with him and Jerry Seinfeld. Shocking. I loved Sanford and Son.

He was a great standup as well.

RIP to another great one. There is a pretty big line at the Pearly Gates these last few weeks.

Larry Sanders show was easily a top 10 comedy. The garbage on today can't compare.

I just told his old stand up "doggie downers" story just the other day and it still got a laugh.
He was one of those that had the trifecta talent, he was great at standup, acting and comedy writing.
