Two sources familiar with the negotiation pegged Denver's offer as hovering around $18 million per season (roughly $90 million over five years). With the $4 million disparity in mind, that puts Miller's stance at around $22 million annually (roughly $110 million over five years).

They're going to lose Miller just like they lost Osweiler.

Rumors are they think everyone should take team friendly deals since one guy did. ROFL. They also don't want to pay him like he's on the open market.

Von Miller is wanting to be paid as much as Aaron Rodgers. Good luck with that. Denver is smart to make him play on the tag and see what happens.

Derek Wolfe, the stupid white dude that is costing all those brothers millions. It is still the white dudes fault.

Okung gave them a hell of a deal too. But mostly because he's an idiot and went to the negotiations by himself.

This is a good point. They are offering him more per year than the tag in the deal they have on the table. If he doesn't accept it, let him play on the tag. What are the odds he stays as hot as he has been?
Fuck everything donk. Forever and ever amen.
This is an even better point.

Denver can tag Von for three straight years and it would still be cheaper than giving him a long term contract. The deal will get done.

Why would he accept that though? He'll most likely holdout this offseason because he knows his value and shouldn't have to settle for less than he's worth.

I hope the cosmic forces align and by some miracle he somehow ends up in Cleveland.

would be great to watch that piece of shit rot in a Browns uniform.

I'm under the impression that Von wants to hit FA, he will not sign till week 10.

Maybe he plays, but he knows he is worth 22M/Y and he is going to get it. The cap keeps going up people. Don't compare what he wants to QB's now, there is a reason teams worked hard to resign QB's over last 3-4 years to long extensions.

QB's of the future with the cap going up are going to be 22M-25M year type deals. Andrew Luck for example is going to get 200Million over X-amount of years. (Trust me if Indy wont, someone will)

It will cost him about $8M to do that, and then he'll get tagged again. Von, like most franchise tagged players, will sign the day of the deadline. Last year DT and Dez Bryant got their longterm deals 30 minutes before the 4:00 PM deadline.

Yeah, you are correct. I was thinking of Vincent Jackson type deal. If he was going to do what I said, it would be Next year.
