I'd be fairly happy with this draft, with the exception of Brown in the 5th. The Chiefs drafted two ILBer's last year with much higher upside than Brown. Plus, they have Brown's teammate in Justin March.

I'd rather be looking for a guy who could contribute on special teams right away than a lotto ticket QB at that point.

My perspective is if I'm not taking a QB early that I think can become a starter, I'm not gonna take a developmental guy later.

Not that I disagree but Andy Reid and John Dorsey have been a part of developing later round QB's in Green Bay and Philly that were swapped for higher choices down the road.

Mark Brunell, Aaron Brooks, A.J. Feely, Kevin Kobb, etc.

It's not a bad strategy.

But think about this one.

Let's say that the Titans can give up both of the 2nd rounders they got from St. Louis to move up to 6 and grab Ronnie Stanley.

According to more and more evaluators, Stanley's potentially as good as Tunsil. If that's the case, didn't they just get the Rams 1st and 3rd next year for free?

Seems like a pretty brilliant maneuver if they can manage it. I'd imagine they could probably even get a 2017 3rd included from Baltimore in that deal (maybe even a 2016 3rd instead).

The Titans were smart to get out of that spot and if they can bank assets, move up and still get a guy that fits their needs perfectly, it's a home run draft.

IMO, moving back into the Top Ten, especially the Top 6, negates much of the original trade's value, especially if they give up #15 and the two 2's from the Rams.

That would leave them with #6 and #76 in 2016, a 2017 mid-first rounder and mid 3rd rounder plus Stanley. They're also giving up 113 and 177 this year. That seems to me like deflated value, especially considering Lewan has never played anywhere but left tackle.

Getting six picks while giving up three of those picks to jump back in doesn't seem like a good value, but we are talking about a Belichick protoge', so I suppose anything can happen.

I'd hate for Baltimore to have 3 second rounders. :(

If I'm the Titans I'm going heavy on defense in this draft.

Marriotta, Lewan, Warmack, Wright and DGB are all young talented guys to develop on offense along with proven talents like Delanie Walker, Rishard Matthews and DeMarco Murray.

Their defense is so so bad. It just needs and overhaul and this draft is perfect for that. The more chances for them to get talented guys early the better.

I'd be mad if we pass up another smallish playmaking Big 12 WR in the 2nd round for an interior offensive lineman. If they go DL/pass rusher/Joseph with that 2nd and pass on Sterling, I get it. For a guard? No thanks.

If we pass on Sterling Shepard in the second to take a guard I will be legit pissed.

If we get Apple in the first and Shepard in the second I will do fat guy cartwheels.

Chiefs would be total ****ing idiot fools to pass on Robert Nkemdiche.

There is a very nice write up on this kid in the latest ESPN magazine.

Drug use-never proven. Joints in the room, but he was Not under the influence. Was charged with possession because the room was in his name. Friends even stated it was not his. Never failed a drug test.

One scout asked about his defensive knowledge-he went to the white board and put Every players position and duties -including the CB's.

Brother was a bad influence-but also is the one that got him into football.

Is a deep thinker, has big dreams like most kids that age -like wanting to have his own clothing company, own a Black Panther, but is committed to football.

His coaches say he is the Best player they ever coached. Takes direction well.

Was nearly un-blockable in some games. True dominate force.

Seems like a pretty descent kid to me- a few bad press clippings like falling out a window- but will be a good pick for somebody.

Has big dreams like most kids and owning a black panther don't go together.

I think you guys are going to like the outcome from mine more than Dane's, lol

SOAMFB I was on pick 243 of my mock when I got the alert on my phone about the Browns/Eagles trade.

And ESPN just did a nice little rehab tour for Greg fucking Hardy.

ESPN is a mindless PR arm for the NFL at this point.

You're welcome to him; dude's fucking nutty. To believe otherwise is to believe that he 'didn't use drugs' and that he 'fell out of a window' instead of 'he got high off his ass from a synthetic hallucinogen, jumped out the window and then threw his teammates under the bus when asked about it later'.

Sounds like ESPN was completely evenhanded and that the guy just stumbled...

Even before all the off-field stuff, there were questions about whether he was worth a high pick. Production on the field wasn't great. Big man who moves well, but given the depth of the DL class, not sure he'd be worth 28 even with no flags.
