I've been telling you guys for a while that he's not the reach you think he'd be at 28. Well here's the proof:

Every single guy on the NFL network has him in the 1st at this point. That is a pretty good indicator that he's being seen as a such in NFL circles.

Also had seen him as a late rd 1 guy weeks ago. I wouldn't hate the decision. Could do much worse.

He's got enough talent to be a 1st round pick but he hasn't been coached well and is very raw. I think his grade largely depends on how a team feels about their coaching staff moulding him into a good player in the NFL. If there is a staff in the NFL that could do it, I think KC has one of the best. I wouldn't be pissed about him as a 1st rounder but at this point I still have him with a 2nd round grade.

You can get better players at different positions than Artie Burns at 28.

He's so raw. I could see him struggling or riding the bench, and then the Chiefs would be in the exact same position they are now next year, dealing with unknowns.
