If he's there in the early 20s, somebody is going to trade up for him to get in front of KC.

Everybody knows how much KC scouted him and anybody that watched Dorsey's interview knows he sees Lynch as a prospect as good (or better) than either Wentz or Goff.

I'm confident that Apple and WJ3 won't both be off the board by 25. One likely, but not both. The fact that Mayock has WJ3 #3, but still has him falling to 28 is a good sign we have a shot though

I'm pretty confident Dallas takes him at 4 though, I should've mentioned that. A lot of smoke that they will, even over Ramsey. They want to recreate 2014.

I know the Raiders will likely end up with a good player, but I'd much rather it be somebody like Lee or Floyd who will take some time and not have the instant impact Elliot or Jack would.

The New York Daily News' Gary Myers is "hearing" there is "no way" the Jets will draft Memphis QB Paxton Lynch.

Lynch's stock seemed hot -- potentially even top-ten hot -- as recently as last week, but teams' feelings regarding the way he dresses and carries himself have been made public over the last few days. Lynch is a toolsy, highly intriguing prospect, but he's developmental on the field and not entirely "clean" off of it. He's a wild card in a first round chock full of them.

FOX Sports' Alex Marvez reports the Chargers won't be taking Notre Dame OT Ronnie Stanley with the No. 3 overall pick.

It's looking more and more like the Bolts are zeroed in on Oregon DE DeForest Buckner, though Florida State DB Jalen Ramsey is also a possibility. The Bolts have major needs on both lines, but it's more urgent on defense. San Diego could field a quality offensive line if the unit in place simply gets better injury luck.

NFLDraftCountdown.com released their final mock draft today.

http://www.draftcountdown.com/mock-draft/2016-mock-draft/round-1/page/3/

28. Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor

After years of neglecting the wide receiver position the Chiefs finally went out and made a significant investment in Jeremy Maclin last offseason and it paid off immediately. There isn’t much to get excited about beyond Maclin though so it would be wise to bring in another playmaker for the passing attack. Coleman is the most explosive prospect in this class and a threat to score at anytime from anywhere on the field. Coleman lacks polish but is the type of dynamic weapon that defenses must account for at all times, which is something the Kansas City offense is currently lacking. Even if Coleman is gone there should be plenty of good options at wideout if that is indeed the direction they prefer to go. If they don’t snag a pass catcher here the other most likely possibility would probably be a cornerback since they lost Sean Smith in free agency. Both Eli Apple of Ohio St. and William Jackson III of Houston will likely be gone by this point but Artie Burns of Miami (FL), Mackensie Alexander of Clemson and Kendall Fuller of Virginia Tech are realistic alternatives. Kansas St. OG Cody Whitehair seems like an Andy Reid-type of player too so that is something else to watch out for.

The Jets need somebody to play QB in 2016.

If they take Lynch with the intention of starting him right away, that just as big of a mistake as them doing so with Geno Smith.

I'm still hoping KC moves up for Lynch using a 2017 pick to move up.

I think Dorsey tipped his hat during his recent interview that they intend on doing that, too.

Seemed to indicate that he thinks Lynch is as good or better than Wentz and Goff and also mentioned that he has had conversations with multiple teams about draft trade scenarios.

Boy, oh boy I'm gonna be super pumped up if we make a move to draft him.

We lost Smith and Abdullah. We need a corner so the only way I see us drafting Lynch is if he falls to 28 so there is no trade.

For Dorsey to trade up his love for him would have to be on the "no way this guy is not a stud for 15 years" type of love. I doubt that's what he thinks when no scout in the nations feels that way.

We would be in the market next year but it's not looking good for prospects so if he made a move this may be his only shot. He might think that if Lynch falls close to us.

Other teams also know this so I that just really makes it u likely he goes down that far.

we are not trading up already missing picks.
we sure as hell aren't trading up for a QB with all our defensive needs.

Our corner depth alone is enough to prevent us taking a QB that high

LCB Marcus Peters - Marcus Cooper Marcus - Carr, Deveron
RCB Gaines, Phillip - Nelson, Steven - Lewis, Keith

Cooper is shit
Carr complete unknown
Gaines is coming off a misses season due to injury
Nelson has had 1 real game at corner
Lewis complete unknown

One injury away from form a disaster ... moving Parker back to corner and Gaines from slot to outside.

I realize that safeties make Sutton's dick hard but we need at least one corner, if not 2. One CB needs to be good enough to play THIS year without stinking up the place

Dorsey sent scouts to almost every single game of Lynch last year. Dan Patrick mentioned it every week.

Watch the video of Dorseys interview after taking that into account.

I understand that I'm making a guess off intuition, but the look on Dorseys face when he says "everybody goes back and forth discussing who the best QB in this draft is between Goff and Wentz...I find that....interesting...absolutely was one of playing coy and indicating he thought someone else should be in that conversation.

No way Dorsey sent scouts to all of those games unless he has a very serious interest and thinks very highly of Lynch.
