I'm a big Radiohead guy and think this is great. Much more Johnny Greenwood influenced with his composition style than Thom's electronic thing he's got going on now. This is a good combo of both styles though. Great texture.

a little too symphonic orchestra-ish for me.

Coldplay took sounds from Radiohead for so long it makes sense that they take some back.

I like it though.

Coldplay should go back to that. I was all in through X&Y. Then I moved on.

They had a great sound starting out. AROBTTH is definitely one of the best albums from the 00s imo. VLV was good, but things really went off the rails at Mylo Xyloto. I guess they're still tolerable, but it's a shame they've devolved into nothing but a top 40 pop band. It's like they've gotten less mature as they've aged.

I think my favorite newish band out of the UK right now is Wolf Alice.

I do think Ghost Stories tried to get back to Parachutes for a few tracks.

One does not understand a Radiohead video. Rather, one simply enjoys it.

This tune was on the original track listing for In Rainbows. But in simpler form. I believe without the raw strings (Johnny's thing with his movie soundtracks).

I don't know if I have this on repeat because I love it, or because I'm trying to get myself to love it.

When Colin's "Airbag"-like bassline comes in, though...

I've found it to be a creeper. But over it quickly. Needed one more minute of crescendo IMO. But I'm all MMJ right now and they are all over that sort of thing. My fave.

Album is going to be released this Sunday.

New song & video, "Daydreaming," directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Beat me too it. Nice climax. The strings add a lot of power.

Obviously a tribute to The Wicker Man.

A modern reference is hot fuzz. Same idea. Great movie

Inspector comes in to a weird village. Village has many bizarre cults and rituals to create perception of a perfect village. Villagers try to oust the meddling inspector.

Up to track five now, didn't really connect with daydreaming yet, but some of their songs take time to grow on me. The rest are instant, and this album is exceeding my expectations. Very happy.

The ending of Burn The Witch and into Daydreaming brought tears to my eyes. Didn't care too much for this version of True Love Waits. Though "Don't leave" is still the best lyric ever written.
