Love the way he plays the game! My favorite Royal for sure.

Nice vid. When I do catch a Royals game, Perez is my favorite player to watch. He's like the Tamba Hali of the Royals. By that, I mean he's talented, fun loving, and the other players really seem to rally around him because of his personality and love for the game.

Watching those homers in the vid were cool, but the throws (especially to second base) are fucking sick.

I also wasn't aware that he was the one with the game ending hit in the wildcard game against the A's. Very nice.

Hahaha...I'm not a huge baseball guy. I probably did know at some point, and just forgot. I know I watched some of that game that night, but can't remember if I saw the end.

Also awesome that you got it edited and uploaded to Youtube the day after Salvy's 5-hit game.

If Salvy can stay healthy, and hit for a little more average, he might....MIGHT...be a guy for Cooperstown.

I have a serious man crush on him.

One of a kind, that's for sure.

He really takes at Target Field. Damn near half of his highlights at the plate were in Minny ROFL

I don't know if you guys noticed, but pay close attention to Salvy's first hit and who is pitching. Might be shocked to find out who it was  I will say this hint for you. You might need a check when you leave the restaurant.

Bad ball hitter!

Yeah I didn't either when i was editing the video until I stopped and looked. I heard the name Davis and wondered if it was him. I think it is pretty cool that Salvy's first ever RBI and hit were off Wade Davis. Almost like it was fate for them to play together.

I don't think he will make cooperstown, but I think it is going to be Brett, White, Howser, and Perez after he retires.

He is so "clutch" and plays BIG when big is needed regardless if he is playing mediocre or in a hot streak.

He has that George Brett "it factor". Just loves the game and his passionate heart shows it not just for the game but for his fellow teammates and competitors as well.

Jesus lives in this man's heart and it shows.:thumb:

Jesus. I could watch that shit all day.

The hit in the Wildcard game is still chokes my ass up everytime. Same with him running out the dugout a champion. Good shit.

And I don't know why any fools would try to run on him. I could watch him throw fools out all day.

Great video about a great ball player.

He is the heart of this team. Hosmer may be the face, but Salvy is the heart. If he has any length to his career, he will be remembered as one of the best catchers to play. I was watching some other random broadcast talking about their catcher, and how he had a 35% rate of runners caught stealing. They were gushing over it "Anything over 30% is really good." Then I'm watching the Royals broadcast and they say Salvy throws runners out 54% of the time... He's great, and I'm proud he's a Royal.

And for my money, the call on his game winning hit in the 2014 wildcard game by Ryan will be the one I remember from all of this. I'm not sure I can hear the 2015 Game 5 WS call as clearly in my head, but "Swing and a ground ball to third, IT'S FAIR!" will always be ingrained into my brain.

Salvy absolutely CRUSHED that baseball.

Should be the starting catcher in the All Star game again.

I wouldn't bet against Salvy.

Say he ends up with 12 All Star starts- 10 Gold Gloves, 400 doubles 350 homers and 2800 hits. Plus a World Series MVP maybe 2.

Add to it -being a top 5 in games caught and ending with the highest throw out % in baseball history for players trying to steal.

There are worse players in there then that.

Cards fans think that Molina is a no-doubt half of famer and Perez is miles ahead of where Molina was at his current age accolade-wise. If Sal can stay healthy, then Royals fans shouldn't be doing the same.

It does me too. Funny how he was frowning in 2014 and celebrating in 2015. What a difference a year makes!

I honestly did not care for Ryan's call there. Especially the "They've done it!" part. It almost sounded like he was unprepared for the moment.

On any commercial I've heard on the radio, they always edit that part out.

Before he just got injured he just hit all over a team that has great pitchers what now! I remember him hitting all over the Mets too last World Series your argument is flawed!

So you think there's a possibility he hits almost 300 more doubles (113 so far) and over 275 more home runs (72 si far) ?
