He bitched out last year, so Dorsey said, "meh. Whatever. Look! another fast guy!"

It's good to have options...

I would guess this puts him on the roster bubble.

Even if he doesnt make the final roster, I'd really hope Dorsey would be able to salvage something for him. In the very least someone with his speed, youth, and return ability should be worth a 6th right?

Same with Knile, both of them are good enough to not have to reach waivers.

We'd probably get a 6th/7th for Knile before DAT...

This!
He quit on the team and he would do it again. I don't want him on the team and hope John and Andy feel the same.

But most teams will know that his heart may not be in football.. it is going to be hard to get much for that.

EDIT: In fact, as I type that "his heart may not be in football" he sounds less and less like a Dorsey guy. I bet he gets cut.

Deal is, even though he had "issues" last year, we've had enough time to see the real DAT and that is a guy who is too fragile to be counted on. Next.

I think he's looking to get another concussion and a pay day. I'd separate myself as far as possible from him. If you can trade him, great. Otherwise, cut and move on.

He's a california kid that will immediately sign with another team when we release him

He has HIV, not AIDS. Dorsey is keeping him around to see if he can be like Magic Johnson and just live with it.

DAT has zero trade value.

I don't think at this point he is adding much to the team, but he also costs next to nothing.

I predict he wont make the day 1 roster.

DAT has zero trade value.

I would add, at this time.

Teams that need a returner after preseason has ended may be willing to give up a 6th or 7th for him, instead of trying to get him off of waivers.

And keep in mind, a 6th or 7th could be a punter...

Ya know , it might just be possible that after his concussion and he had a real one , that he was having a little trouble fielding punts. Would be reasonable.

I think the team has the luxury of being deep at that position. Hes the odd man out.

Why is he even on the roster? Do they still believe in him or his future?
