Most Unlikable Baseball Player Tournament - Round 1, Heat 5

Please vote for the two players you dislike the most in each heat. Feel free to give reasons (words, pictures, videos, etc.) why this player is unlikable, as it may not always be immediately evident and you may persuade others to join in your disdain of douchey players. Four players from the nomination poll will be chosen randomly for each heat, and the top two will go to round two.

HEAT 5 (SECOND BASE EDITION):

Chase Utley (Phillies, Dodgers)

Unlikable Traits:
- Broke Ruben Tejada's leg with an aggressive slide in the 2015 playoffs, prompting MLB to change slide rules this offseason for player safety.
- Immediately began the 2016 season with an illegal slide at home plate.
- In a 2011 Sports Illustrated player poll, he was voted 2nd meanest player in baseball, behind only A.J. Pierzynski.
- Has a dumb smirk on his face in his official MLB photo (see above).

Ian Kinsler (Rangers, Tigers)

Unlikable traits:
- Plays for Detroit Tigers.
- Doesn't know how to slide into third base (see video below).
- Called the Rangers president of operations a "sleaze ball" for trading him adding, "To be honest with you, I hope they go 0-162. I got friends, and I love my friends, but I hope they lose their ass." I am not sure what "lose their ass" means.

Jose Altuve (Astros)

- Other than the fact that he plays for the Astros, I have no idea.

Daniel Murphy (Mets, Nationals)

- Complains about every single called strike ever. Even strike one. Worst player I have ever seen with this. Even worse than Jose Bautista.

Had I tough time picking between Utley and Kinsler went Utley and had to pick the pesky midget Altuve because he plays for Stros and seems to be a thorn in KC's side. He would look good on the Royals and I would love to have him but he isn't so Fuck him.
