Gotta say that shit before he's dead and off limits.

I remember those songs so he was more of a Barry Manilow type. Did he write any of those not that it really matters I guess. Those type songs always sounded like something Kris Kristofferson wrote them tossed out in the garbage bin.

When I was a kid, I used to think a woman was singing "laughter in the rain".

I can now kinda' see why.

Also, if you would have told me a dude was singing "hot child in the city", I would have called you a retard.

I miss the mystery of radio.

Sedaka clearly does the golden oldies era better - you know; prior to the middle age sex-offender look.

Also yes - plus his (Roy Orb.) timing was off a little, once he'd blossomed. He had a horrible life - if you ever do the research. I agree - In fact, I think I like him better than Elvis.

here he is w/o Elton J.

He was definitely an entertainer for that time period. I see why folks liked him.

I mean sure it looks corny now but still, it wasn't always. At least he had the guts to get up there and dance - him and his backup vocalists were really into it.

Not too bad at all - I expected worse w/ Elton removed - but naw - still a nice tune!

The last CP Bash we attended at Nzoner's, Neil Sedaka's Bitch is Back was one of the songs on the playlist (I don't know why ask Nzoner) and I knew the whole song although it's not one of my faves.
Sedaka's "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" was a double hit for him, I learned the original version as a little kid and he came out with a remake in the late 70's(?). I'll sing along with both but the original is my fave.
