These teams are definitely a stop down from the Top Tier teams. They all generally have long tenures of average quarterbacks and occasional bursts of greatness. But none had that long-time high-performing franchise QB other than the Bills with 11 years of Kelly.

In the end, I put Oakland at the bottom of the list. They just haven't had the consistent history that I'd like to see. I refuse to state who I voted for at the top of the list because I respect the game of football.

In the end, I think the reasonable vote is for Buffalo or Denver at the top, and it's kind of a wash, and the other three in a coin flip at the bottom.

I agree. I voted Buffalo as the best. Not to take anything away from horseface and his accomplices but I simply can not and will not ever vote for anything that would present the doncos in a positive manner.

I probably should have voted for Buffalo. I'd compare them as follows:

11 years of Jim Kelly versus 4 years of Manning and 6 years of effective game manager Elway (of the Colts). Probably a draw.

12 years of Joe Ferguson versus 10 years of ineffective "I'm the star" Elway. Probably a draw.

2 years of Flutie versus 2 years of Cutler. Slight advantage to Denver.

3 years of Bledsoe versus 4 years of Plummer. Probably a draw.

3 years of Jack Kemp versus 5 years of Craig Morton. Probably a slight advantage to Buffalo.

How come you don't say anything about Eli Manning being drafted by SD yet you make that stupid comment about Elway and the Colts?

Eli Manning is exactly the same thing as Elway. I was remiss in not pointing out that Eli Manning is scum who undermined the sport, and thank you for pointing that out.

I did mention it in Heat 1, though, just so no one thinks that I'm playing favorites.

Sounds like you got QB envy issues.

Must be. Your teams amazing qb drafting skills leaves me drooling.

You guys did a great job of winning the lottery (Manning)

Yep, it's QB envy.

The Chiefs had their own QB with a 79 career QB rating in Matt Cassel. They were just smart enough to not start him for 16 years.

If you want to judge teams purely on greatness at drafting a QB, the list is small... PIT, DAL, SF...

SF didn't draft Steve Young...

Ha... that's true, keep forgetting that and it's the same reason I left the Packers off the list. Maybe the Colts get in that list...

And the weird thing is that greatness means you drafted two good guys, or even one really good guy.
