I gotta admit I'm hooked. So far it replaces about 75% of my daily breakfasts and about 60% of my lunches.

The most intriguing quality for me is that it tames my appetite far better than any shake or protein bar I've ever tried. It tastes like skim milk after whole wheat cheerios have been sitting for awhile. Many of my IT friends are hooked also on the simple convenience of it.

I'm not a stakeholder or know anyone who is, just thought I'd share with the Planet.

OK, commence the Soylent Green people eating conspiracies.

I've heard of it - the next thing are the alkaline waters, BLK water.

I'm a manager for the company that actually produces that product for Soylent.

Glad you like it. They have started offering it through Amazon but I haven't checked the prices yet.

Coffee flavor and some other flavor options are in the works. It seems to be growing fairly steady.

Wow, so you're telling me it might replace my weekday breakfast sandwich AND my cup of coffee? #LifeChanges

I guess I never heard the human N SG talk or joke. Is there a link that'd help me understand better?

The name for that product is awful. I'm intrigued by it but it sounds like it's going to make me dump my pants.

It's the movie Soylent Green.

In that movie, everybody eats/drinks Soylent Green. Turns out, it's recycled old people.

Screwed me over with their last batches of 1.5 that arrived a month before expiration and then 1.6 doesn't taste right at all.

I always felt like Soylent Red got the shaft. Admittedly it's made from sea algae, not people, but it doesn't have the aftertaste like the green does. People riot when the green runs low though.
