Good, I didnt want that mother****er anyway!

But he had 2.5 sacks last year. Our defense is going to suck now. All we have is a younger, faster, stronger Dee Ford. We are doomed. :deevee:

Every year there is player out there that CP decides are a must have to save our season. This year it was Kruger.

I remember when it was Ty Law.

On July 25, 2006, Law passed his physical with the Chiefs and signed a five-year deal worth $30 million.[7] Law reunited with coach Herman Edwards, whom Law had played under in the 2005 season hoping to strengthen the Chiefs' defense.

Meh, he definitely could've helped but wasnt going to make or break us... we'll survive until Houston gets back around week 8-9

If he'd rather play for a club who's wheels have come off, thats on him

Nobody wants to play for a team with the starting and backup QBs too candy ass to play in a preseason game

What an idiot. He could have signed a 1 year deal here and had a ton of success and bumped his value up for another paycheck.

Now he's fucked with that Saints D, or lack-there-of. The only guy that they have who is worth a damn up front is Jordan.

Yep it makes him look like a declining scrub that only cares about getting a few last paychecks on his mediocre and soon forgotten career.

The Saints' deal with Paul Kruger is 1 year, $3 million, worth up to $5 million with incentives, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. (http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0562710252953277154-4)

They probably told him that he will start for them right away at RDE or something.

He's almost won us a playoff game against manning single handedly

Uhh, bad example. We actually signed Ty Law. And he was pretty damn good.

What if he thinks that when Houston comes back he would then be 4th on the depth chart?

Yeah, to be fair, he does already have a ring so the potential for a championship is probably lower on his priority list than having the best chance to get paid.

Also, he would be 3rd on the depth chart. He's a much better player than Dee Ford is.

Couldn't set the edge or stop the run anyway according to Mav and he saw every Browns game last year.

Fellas, spoiler alert: Kruger sucks. He was realeased by the fucking Browns. Re: Chiefs. They need the internal options to step up. That is all long and short.

Nobody wanted him to be the future of the Chiefs. We wanted him to be a stopgap until Houston is healthy and 1 year $3M would have been a steal to bring competition. I have no idea what Kruger is thinking. Unless the Chiefs flat out punted, which I find hard to believe.

Man...did anyone hear this guy's name at all last week?

Injured and ineffective for the most part. I guess when the Browns cut you, there's probably a reason.

He could have started right away at RDE for us.

Hali is no longer a starter.

He was injured and was listed as Questionable prior to the game due to a back injury.

Would have actually have been a solid signing. I don't think that the Saints let him leave the building though and he didn't even listen to other teams offers.

Yeah, I was really hoping we could get a deal done with him as well.

But ultimately he wouldn't have made a difference in the W/L record, would've cost Ford a few snaps of development and would've taken a team with an already precarious cap situation and made it just a little bit worse.

In the end, I'd say they're probably better for not having snagged him, but he sure seemed like a potentially great snag at the time.

I can't believe that it's been 2 months since we talked about this. The season is flying by.
