View Full Version : Chiefs Who is the biggest POS on the roster this year?

Dante84

From a football only perspective. The guy who makes you want to break your TV.

There's always at least one.
Jordan Black.
Kendrick Lewis.
Sabby Picadilly-paskettios.
Matt Cassel.

Last year, for me, it was Jamell Flemming. He gone.

Who is this year?

I'll pick an actual starter.

Parker Ehringer is gonna be fucking roasted this year when strong tackles beat him like a drum. Morse and Fisher will have to over-compensate for this and will be roasted, too.

And whoever is starting at NB.

Dee Ford -- but it won't surprise me if he gets outplayed by Moses or Dadi rotating in and sees his role diminish further and further and further and further until he's the guy being subbed in. Maybe I'm overly optimistic but I'm hopeful one of our "depth" guys will stand up and take Ford's job if Dee can't get it done.

Knile Davis.
Nah, he's not a PoS

I wouldn't have kept him on the roster but he is a solid kick returner and a decent emergency RB. Doesn't complain or demand big money. Nothing wrong with him really.

If you take salary and expectations into consideration then Dee Ford is the biggest PoS on the roster. I also hesitate to list rookies as PoS this soon.

Roster is getting to the point it's almost PoS free.

Possible PoS 2016 list:
Dee Ford
Albert Wilson
Steven Nelson
Kenneth Acker(too early but he could be)
Daniel Sorensen

Justin March is not that kind of player at all. There might be some bumps early on because he's essentially a rookie, but he's going be a good player.

Bray, Ford and Wilson in the lead so far... yet Wilson has twice as much game experience as the other two combined to base an opinion on

For that reason I'll say Wilson, the excuse made for his apparent fear of contact last year was "well, he had a bum shoulder"... he has no such excuse this year and has displayed all of the same hesitance to take a pop or lay out for an overthrow

I have tried to let go of any hope with Andy's clock management. Now, if he does something right, it's almost like a bonus.

I don't think Wilson is going to get enough playing time to be the POS of the year. Could be Nelson or Acker. If Gaines isn't what we think he is he could be a dark horse, but I think his floor is still too high to get him on the list.

Ford certainly has the circumstances to be here if he doesn't do well.

I hope this place doesn't start banning members because of their opinion on a Chiefs player.
The QB is the most important player on the field, and once again, the Chiefs settled.

It's not his opinion that's the problem. It's his constant trolling that gets on everyone's nerves. There are plenty of differing opinions on players, but that isn't causing anyone else to get banned or threatened with banning. Clay just trolls to antagonize people. He got banned last year because he took every thread and derailed it into an argument about Smith. He has been better since he came back, but lately, he is heading back down that road. Him coming in here saying that Smith is the biggest POS on the roster was a perfect example of his trolling. Smith is never going to be in a HOF discussion, but he is far from a POS and he knows that. He just said it to antagonize people. He will continue doing it until the mods get sick of it again and ban him once more. Let's not pretend that him being banned is just about his opinion.

I agree. Sometimes he trusts his "cute" plays too much instead of just relying on guys to run regular routes and make plays themselves. When he lets Alex run the offense you can see the difference almost immediately.

When receivers catch the ball moving downfield is helps our offense so much.

Catching the ball while stationary or during lateral movement almost kills YAC and the chance for big plays. Reduces possibility of defensive penalty too.

I honestly don't think we have a true POS this season, or at least one hasn't revealed himself yet.

Wilson has been mostly quiet, but came up big in the Atlanta game.

West is probably the closest for me. Though he had a TD last week. Maybe his longest run of the year. I thought he was just hurt early on, but he's looked really bad lately.

On a side note, anyone else notice that we hardly throw passes to the RBs anymore? We did that a lot last year and earlier this year when Ware was tearing it up in terms of yards from scrimmage. Now that's almost nonexistent.

Well well well.

I honestly don't think we have a true POS this season, or at least one hasn't revealed himself yet.

Harris has had some drops, but made the clutch 2-point conversion in the Denver game.
Wilson has been mostly quiet, but came up big in the Atlanta game.

I'm impressed.

Dorsey drained the swamp

Phillip Gaines for getting absolutely torched against the Broncos and at the moment Jeremy Maclin but hopefully he starts producing again because we'll need him in the playoffs.

And also Charcandrick West he just doesn't seem as explosive as last season.

Philip Gaines has to be the one. Much was expected. Albert Wilson was a contender but has contributed lately. Maclin hasn't been right since his friend died, but he has produced before.

Yep, gotta go with Gaines. Hard to point too many fingers when you're 10-3 though.

Gonna make a prediction and say Zombo is gonna make my list very soon

This, especially if he is forced to cover running backs.

He'll get exposed, hopefully he isn't on the field a whole lot except on obvious running situations.

Maclin

Sorry he's not getting a pass just bc he's Jeremy Maclin.

Dudes been absolute trash this season.

Gotta go with Gaines on this one.

Toss up between Gaines and Maclin.

All the Maclin haters are going to be eating their words in these upcoming weeks. 4 weeks into this season people were saying Ware was a fumbling machine. And that Sutton had to go. Or how Dee Ford was a bust. Maclin on the field even at 75% is better than the next guy up.

Gaines has definitely been the biggest bust this season.

Toss up between Gaines and Maclin.

Can't disagree with these two. Charcandrick West hasn't been a ball of excitement this year either.

For the set expectations, Maclin is the biggest POS on the roster this year.

In recent games, Philip Gaines. Seems like the coaches have learned how to hide underperformers lately.

He's been hurt, but no doubt he's been disappointing.

It's Demetrius Harris and it's not close. He's fumbled, dropped lots of passes, missed blocks and has made 1 clutch catch all year.

Gaines and Maclin have done more than him.

DAT is a waste of a roster spot.
