I don't know why KC didn't go for it there, they should've at least tried to get into FG range. SD didn't have a timeout left and there was only 16 seconds left on the clock.

It's fucking painful watching Alex Smith then switching over to Aaron Rodgers.

Smith plays best when the teams around him are built up. Any weaknesses and it falls apart like a house of cards.

He could have the 99 Rams O and still throw for 18 touchdowns and 3000 yards.

After that first half, I doubt anyone was predicting the outcome we got. I'll be watching for the praises of passes parallel to the line of scrimmage as the season goes along. Holding the football and refusing to throw isn't going to get it done. He did it against a team that was 4-12 last year, against a coach that went full Marty up 21. Legit teams will not make this mistake. Id still be perfectly fine if Smith threw himself in the river. I've had enough of his sideways and 5-7 Yard passing clinics.

Alex looked meh the fist half. First drive was good. The rest was like everyone was out of sync. Yes, he held the ball a couple times but the line was also very leaky.

Now, it would have been easy to write this game off. Anyone who said we would win when we were down 24-3 in the 3rd is a liar. No one, no one thought we would come back and win.

So what happens? Alex Smith shows what an elite QB does. He puts the team on his shoulders and led this team to a huge come back. Ware was key. But so were the passes to Hill, Kelce and Maclin.

Clutch.

I really don't understand why he isn't benched. He's not some formerly great QB that deserves respect and he was shit last season as well. The locker room I'm sure would like a change from the crap they get from him and it's pretty obvious that something is wrong with him. The fire is gone, age, arm hurts or something. He's worse than ever.

Do you REALLY think Foles or Bray are better?

I know he's not awesome or anything, but Smith is better than those two. The Chiefs are kind of stuck with him right now.

What do the Chiefs really have to lose at this point?

Their ceiling is 10-6. That won't get it done for a wild card berth and they'd have to go on the road to Denver, New England, Pittsburgh or Houston. They'll get embarrassed again in any of those fourth options.

What does Kansas City have to lose playing an unproven Bray? Or see if Foles can okay like his tenure in St Louis never happened.

There's no reason to keep trotting out Smith. None. He's a known commodity that has proven to be above average only when things are going perfectly for the defense, running game and offensive line.

All three of those phases are toast.

He's definitely not doing himself any favors to stick around lately. Really though, games like this? the whole team (Andy too) was just a bunch of useless ****ups.

I just want to see the Chiefs win games. I prefer it be with Alex, but if there's someone better to put out there, **** it.. go for it.

Are you kidding me? Foles or Bray or anyone in the stands would take a shot down the field and throw the ball in the end zone a few times.

They couldn't do worse. We don't score a it is so how can they do worse?

Foles looked like ass in the PS and it was because he was executing the offense as it's expected to be ran.

Bray is at least a complete ?.

He'll most likely suck, but that just means better draft position. But he very well could light it up.

I'll take the risk for the better return than the lesser risk that provides no reward.
