Have to stick with it during the potholes if you're really going to get a thrill out of the highs.

Those of us who played serious sports and know you never give up until there is no time on the clock.

You may not always win; but you never, never give up. Kudos to the 53 who showed this last year at 1-5; and again today.

Winning streak at 11 and counting

Fell asleep for 5 minutes in the 3rd quarter and had to rewind the dvr (hence the absence of Dee Ford bashing the last quarter and a half), but watched the whole thing (and now want to have Dee Ford's babies).

How did the crowd hang during the game? They were showing hardly any crowd shots. Did a bunch of people leave?

I could hear crowd noise at critical moments in the fourth quarter, so there still must've been a lot of people there.

Post-game Interview, Smith said he checked out of another play and into the option play after seeing how the D was lined up.

Good things happen when they actually let Smith make adjustments at the line.

They should give him the same freedom that guys like Manning, Brady, Rodgers, etc have. He might not have the same natural feel for throwing and moving in the pocket, but he definitely has the mind.

Second biggest comeback for any team's first regular season game in NFL history. Only bigger comeback was Green Bay coming back from 23 down to beat the Rams in their first game of the 1982 season.

They need to let him do his thing. He will make mistakes, but he will also make some great adjustments.

I lost hope more than briefly but I watched the whole game. After the INT I almost turned it off. When SD missed the FG I hung in. I actually went into the Chat room after that and said, okay I'm here. Everything will be okay. That was actually pretty funny because it happened. I'm not superstitious, don't read anything into that. I wasn't even serious when I said it. That's why it was funny too me.

This team will make you run the gambit on all of your emotions for 4 hours a week 3 months a year. The NFL is why men die younger than women. Unbelievable comeback. I'm still high as a motherfucker over it.

The turnaround last year cleansed me of judging them down for the count before the playoffs are mathematically impossible

During the game, I told the people I was watching it with that it was pretty much identical to the 2014 Titans game. A blowout at home, but the team would regroup and win a lot of games. But man, I didn't expect that. Talk about an emotional high right now

If SD would have scored another touch down at 21-3, I would have checked out for sure. I still didn't think they had chance until they got down the field on the last drive and fully expected them to choke at anytime. It was a nice win, GO CHIEFS!

I pussed out when things were their darkest but, as I said before and during the game, I'm very happy that Ware has shown what he did last year wasn't a fluke. Dude clocked almost 200 yards of total offence and made some great catches/runs -- including some that I don't think Charles makes.

Frankly, and I don't care at all if I'm in minority here, I'd like to see him stay the front man for this ground game/offense. Love Charles, but Ware is just as shifty and he gets more yards after contact and was just punishing people in the second half.

Watched a bit into the third quarter, got ticked off and went out to mow. Listened while mowing and came back into watch just after the field goal to bring it within 7.

After completely losing my mind last year during the donk game, I've decided it is best for my health if I step away from the truly frustrating games.

I'm thrilled they won and happy I got to see the completion of the comeback, but I can't do what I did last year and be ok.

We DVR'd the game, but it was like Cassel was positioning my antenna. Super cruddy reception. Not the semi-watchable analog kind either. The blocky, herky jerky kind.

So the fam and I are glued to a television going double or triple speed. It was fascinating. Scoreboard kept clicking ahead. Frozen frames that gave off body language of near victory.

It was like watching the scrambled Cinemax channel during my wasted youth.

Is there anyone who uploads the game for antenna-dufus people like me to watch later?

LMAO I wondered if anyone noticed that. My dad and my boss know I feel that way about Smith and they heard me going on about it yesterday and holy cow did I ever pick a weird time to melt down about that. Didn't know he had that in him....and he most definitely does. I haven't felt this content with a QB after a performance since Green. I think if Alex remains consistent and plays and conducts himself the way he did yesterday, I think the team is capable of accomplishing something nice. It was like something got into him all the sudden.

Yeah, I watched the whole game, always have.

The first half was sickening. Most were just mailing it in, like they had just gotten a new fat contract after winning the two previous super bowls.

When D.J. White made the great play/stop and came up fired up, things seemed to change. Yes, Ware was the bullet without question, but I was inspired to see White do what he did.
