View Full Version : Chiefs Late night bullshit: it's worth mentioning.

The time management couldn't have possibly been better by the Chiefs in the 4th quarter.

I don't know if Andy Reid has delegated Nagy and Childress to correct this, but it was night and day.

The preservation and use of timeouts. The decision to huddle and go no-huddle.

It was all pretty much perfect. Hell we managed it better than the Chargers did -- we had an opportunity to get the ball back at the end of the game, even.

Credit where it's due. Time management ultimately did us in against the Patriots.

Like Dorsey trying to solve weak spots in a roster, it looks like Reid tried to solve a historically weak spot in his game.

I have a few minor quibbles but 95% agree.

he gambled a lot too. if it werent for that punt of san diego's the game would have been different. i even stated in chat with five minutes to go, that someone should tell andy its not 15 mins to go.

I noticed that too. They didn't drag their feet and I was not yelling for Andy to take a timeout. Time management was handled much better this game. Hopefully it is not a one-time event.

100% agree. I wasn't thinking we could get back in the game with so little time left.

Nice take, Direckshun. Hadn't really given it much thought, but I think you've picked up something with this observation. Let's hope it persists.

I was 100% certain they were going to fuck it up too. It's as amazing as any other part of the comeback.

Man I hope you're right. If they really have that solved then the sky is the limit for this regime.

Time management was fucking elite last night.

Reid still has many weaknesses, but Childress and Nagy have helped turn this weakness into a strength.

Agree here. The TO to force a punt and give Hill a shot and the end of regulation and OT were good.

Credit to Reid. I was waiting for the meltdown. It didn't happen.
