Does he need a honeymoon period or something?

He looks worse than Eric Winston ever did out there.

He was atrocious the entire game. He certainly didn't help Smith any.

He's fucking fine. I hate you.

He gave up pressures to J.J. Watt.

He's going to be fine. Everybody needs to stop acting like SNR.

JJ Watt is the best player in the NFL.

That's what happens when you go up against the two time defensive player of the year...

We got Schwartz for what he's done/can do against Mack and Miller. Hopefully he shows up and proves he was worth it in those games.

Watt is a different animal. He was too strong for Schwartz today.

Can I ask if you were joining the pitchfork and torch-wielding fucktards on a witch hunt against Marcus Peters?

I and a few others were telling people to chill the fuck out, but that didn't stop most of them from blowing period steam all over the place.

Peters is a 2nd year player who plays risky. That's his nature. Schwartz was supposed to be fuck amazing. He wasn't exactly great against the Chargers last week, either.

It doesn't help when Alex holds onto the fucking ball forever. Schwartz had a rough day but one of those sacks is on Alex just like last week.

I'll tell you what, it sure would be nice if this team could have some ****ing continuity on the OL to start the season for once.

I've heard it said quite a bit, how continuity is huge with an offensive line. I wonder how much of the line problems today was due to 2 different guards in there today? Whether or not the play of those guards was any better or worse.

Yes, we do. But you don't have a clue what those concerns are.

He obviously got some HGH from Manning when they filmed that Papa Johns commercial.

People have been complaining all along that he takes off running too fast, now they are complaining that he holds on to the ball too long.

normally right there with you on this, but not about yesterday... Smith was indecisive, hesitant, and every decision made (whether to run or stand in there) seemed to be the wrong one. Just wasn't dude's day at all.

Schwartz was crap, but yeah... Watt is Watt.. making all good OTs look below average. That, and the whole offense looked like zombies.

I think Schwartz is better at handing speed moves than Watt's strong bullrush moves.

Would have made sense to have LDT start trying to help him out, but we weren't in that position with Fulton in there.

The whole Oline did a decent not great job yesterday against a very good Texan front 7. I think Alex could have run for nice gains at least 5-6 times and he didn't take off at all. The penalties hurt, Fisher 2 and Schwartz 1

We also ran no screens that I can remember but that stupid flanker screen that got blown up at least 2-3 times. I think twice to Albert Wilson.

They tried another one to Maclin that Alex threw into the dirt. Clay gif'd it.

I've never yelled at Alex for scrambling. Whenever he racks up rushing yards we usually win because he's so effective escaping the pocket.

My only complaint is that he should do a better job protecting himself when he does scramble

Reid was at right guard, Fulton at left.

LDT was out with a high ankle sprain.

Probably best that it hit the dirt actually. The play was about to get blown up for a loss if he caught it. Houston was all over those screens.

SMH. Wow! That is new information! Thanks for telling us that. We hadn't already heard that 6000 times. Yes. Alex Smith had a terrible game. But let me tell you a little secret. He wasn't the only one. The entire offense had a bad day. Andy called a bad game. Ware fumbled, Maclin dropped multiple passes. The line couldn't block to save their lives and had several false starts and holds. Harris dropped a pass in his hands that would've put us in great field position, Morse caused a turnover by snapping the ball over Smith's head. Wilson continued to suck, and oh, by the way, Alex Smith threw some bad passes. But let's just forget about what everyone else did. Alex Smith lost this game singlehandedly. Idiots!

I'm not too worried about Mitch.

But then again, i never expected him to be great.

He didn't just struggle against Houston. He didn't have a great game vs SD either...and he was playing against....Darrius Philon?

He's a player to watch going forward. I'm not overly concerned....but he hasn't been impressive either.
