So far I've been sickened by having to see Von Miller put on a pedestal and knowing Tom's going to shred the league. All while we sit here knowing that the Chiefs will do nothing to materially change things after having been proven to, well, never mind!

I'm sure Andy's still at the buffet and FINALLY yelling at somebody in public. Not about football, but because the bacon is almost gone and he SHOULD be allowed to just have his chair (on wheels) at the buffet..

i'm perversely interested in the colt season melting down

their 30th ranked d is getting sliced by the hoyer led bears, even with the bears having 3 offensive penalties already

Detroit is 1-3, and its only win is against the Colts. Jacksonville is 1-3, and its only win is against the Colts. Let’s not talk about “how really close” the Colts are or congratulate them because they’ve “been in every ballgame.”

He's had a surprisingly few good games. Feel bad for the kid. So far in his career he arguably lost a game on a bullshit Pryor taunting call, a completely incorrect fumble call, and a Kicker missing three field goals including a game winner. Talk about terrible luck.

I'll be curious to see how he does. Browns are one of the first teams to go with a moneyball personnel guy so Kessler is probably their biggest project.

Doesn't matter if there's a doubleheader scheduled. They'll drop a competing game off the air in a team's home market.

Fox was let go and Kubiak was brought in before the season last year.

Then, during the middle of the season, Manning played like shit, got hurt, was essentially benched for Osweiler. Then Osweiler was benched for Manning.

May not have been changes at the same time, but if you want to count Philly's change of QB (which was done 1 week before the regular season) and HC at the same, I don't see how you wouldn't count the Broncos changing QBs.

Because it's not the same, at all.

The Broncos fired Fox because they didn't feel he could bring them home the chip. They "benched" Manning because he was hurt, proceeded to bring him back, won the Super Bowl and he retired so of course they had to find another QB this season.

They didn't make the coach-QB switch at the same time. That's what's important.

Closest teams that I could find fitting that criteria since 2000 would be the 2000 Ravens, 2001 Patriots, 2002 Buccaneers, 2003 Panthers, and 2012 49ers.

Billick was in Year 2 as HC, then Dilfer started, who was not on the team the previous season.

2001 Patriots was Year 2 under Belichick and the legend of Brady started after Bledsoe went down.

2002 Buccaneers were in Year 1 under Gruden, but Johnson had played the year before in Tampa but didn't start all 16 games.

2003 Panthers was Year 2 under Fox and Delhomme was in his first year as the starter there after being signed in free agency.

2012 49ers were in Year 2 under Harbaugh and Kaepernick took over for Smith after he was concussed, but Kaepernick was in Year 2 in the system.
