I can't wait! I hope that he is effective in week 10. We could sure use him getting to Cam.

Let's hope Sutton has taken a page out of Phillip's playbook like many other D coordinators have this year and have just frustrated the manure out of Cam with many looks because Cam can't read and adjust to those different looks. Cam has not had a great year and there is a reason for that, that mostly falls on him.;)

Houston coming back, Charles expected back right in time for the playoffs...

Sure does sound like a promising story that lies ahead.

But first, lets beat the damn Jaguars!

Let's just hope his knee doesn't act up like JC's did with him ending up on IR. He will get 5-10 snaps probably. Let's see where he is at mid-Dec and until then let's hope Ford continues his growth.

I don't know if it's the talent, his comfort with being here so long, or the opponent but this is the most diverse this defense has been since Sutton has been here.

Anyone who thinks we don't game plan or adjust to the opponent is a complete idiot...

The article said they originally thought he would be back this week against Jacksonville, but elected to play it safe and go one more week.

So, I think he's ready to go by next Sunday for sure, albeit under a pitch count.

Just be cautious.

This isn't an easily replaceable HB - this is a 115 million dollar, top 3 pass rushing OLB...

Houston coming back, Charles expected back right in time for the playoffs...

Who said that Charles is "expected" to play in post season?

Reid said he didn't even want to discuss it. The medical trainers haven't discussed it.

I don't think there's much of a chance that he plays but if he does, he won't be anywhere near 100%, which would be a mistake.

What? Charles wasn't having issues due to his ACL surgery, it's jagged and torn meniscus that was causing him pain and swelling.

Unrelated.

Ian Rapoport reported that the surgery went very well and that it is possible. I'm all for trying.

Honestly we're just playing with house money at this point, so it's not big deal if he can't go. It will be interesting hearing about how his rehab goes the next 2 months

Waiting until next week is the right move, he isnt needed today... but he will make a huge difference in containing and harassing Cam

Reports have been flying all morning that the Chiefs brass is optimistic that Charles will being back either for week 17 or the playoffs...

Well, we won't need him till February anyway :D But yeah, I thought he was just done until next year.

Justin Houston + Dee Ford = best edge rush duo in the NFL in the near future.

No GM or coach is perfect, but credit to Dorse and the staff for what they've done here.

Fisher, Ford, Peters, Jones. All have developed into really nice players for us, albeit Jones still is inexperienced.

If Houston, Ford and Hali are all healthy I would assume Zombo is a ST only player.

He had 5 pressures today?

Great news. Now to find a way to keep Ford out there as well. He has been the Defensive MVP so far.

Coverage pressures?

I didn't see them. Saw him get washed out on a lot of run plays and thrown into the dirt while rushing the passer on more than a couple occasions.
