Anyone else? This JUST started happening shortly after the Chiefs game. Prior to today, I've enjoyed phone immunity from the craziness. My # must have made someone's list and been pimped out. 1st world problem to be sure... but damn. I'm unplugging the landline until Wednesday.

Hope none of you experience the same.

Good question. Can I forward them to your home phone? Maybe you can sort out the madness.

I was supposed to get a discount with AT&T if I used their landline service but I told them I have a cellphone so I don't need it just want internet. They kept fucking insisting then try charging me with landline I never got from them. It fucking pissed me off really.

I'm still with them but I'm wanting to switch back to Cox but I still owe them a past bill so I'm kind of stuck with AT&T for now till I can get some shit taken care of with my bills.

Necessary evil for work. I think my grandmother, KC Tattoo and I are the last 3 residential landline customers in 'Merica.

I have been getting several a day for the last couple of weeks, had about 5 today, 3 after the game. It's annoying for sure.

No you read that wrong. I refused their landline but they tried charging me for one anyways. I didn't want a discount just to be charged for a landline that was stupid. AT&T sucks monkey balls.

I usually miss all advertising, but streaming Ind/GB live from a NY IP I get their commercials.

A full 90 sec Hillary ad with nothing but Trump's horny talk, Hillary 5 sec @ end saying she approved message

Is NY back in 1950s I Love Lucy sexual prudery-land? Should we expect this campaign to indicate a trend towards scandalization over the very idea of sex?

I have a phone number that I have had for a bit over 21 years. I don't have a 'real' landline but I do use Magic Jack ($35 a year) to keep that number. I have a house phone system plugged into my internet service. I just got the first robocall today.

True. I have AT&T because there is no other internet provider where I live besides satellite. I used to have DSL but now I have 'U-Verse' because they forced the change. They try to get me to do a phone service every once in a while and I always ask them if they can do VOIP for $35 a year like I'm paying now since that's all their phone service is. They drop it fairly quickly.

My grandparents had the same phone number for decades, as far as I know since at least back in the 50's. The last four digits was their address. It was finally cancelled when my grandmother passed away in 2009.

I just got another one, eleven messages on the answering machine. I have had the same landline number for the last 17 years. I actually prefer it to the cell phone as I can hear what the hell people are saying.

You'd be surprised. We have 10,000 landline subscribers in Central Montana alone.

Do what I do. Expect it to be a political call. If it's a chick start talking dirty to her. If she likes it win win.

One of the many great things about living in Hawaii is that we aren't a swing state and we only have 4 electoral votes, so we get very few robocalls or polls.
