I see it as a group effort today....All the above to achieve this fine performance. I said in the beginning of the game thread that they would have to play their worst game of the year to lose, well congrats guys, you pulled it off.

This was a total team effort.

The only reason the score was close was because of unforced mistakes on the Bucs part.

This one has to go on red zone playcalling. That took two touchdowns off the board.

Before someone says defense, the Chiefs defense held Tampa to 4 points under the league average and 5 points under their team average. Even with the defense not looking their best, they did more than enough to allow this game to be won.

Injuries finally caught up to them. Defense couldn't get off the field. I don't know what the time of possession was, but it musta favored TB.

Steven Nelson is Javier Arenas. He had about as bad of a day as anyone.

The bucs failure to score was more on them than on our defense.

It was a total shit show for sure. The offense needs to get their shit together. I hope we find a way to get healthy as a team and avoid the injury bug.

Andy for the stupid TO at the end of the 1st half, for the stupid cute call to Kelce from the 3, and for nor onside kicking when the D hadn't forced 3 and out all day, for the short passes to end the game. Good grief. His worst coaching job this year.

No. The Bucs went 11 for 15 on third downs, many of those third down and long.

The defense shit themselves at the worst times today. They did a great job in the red zone, I'll give you that, but it wasn't enough. They get an equal share of the blame for not forcing the Bucs off the field when they should have.

Alex Smith actually played a little better today.

He threw a couple of decent long passes and he ran the ball with some determination again.

Interception in the endzone was terrible

I don't blame the D. Too many injuries. I put more of this on the O. Alex threw that awful pick. That was the nail in the coffin. But Andy called a horrible game today. I think we miss Pederson a lot. The playcalling was much better last year during the time that Andy admits Pederson was calling plays.

MMXcalibur

I could have gone with the cop out "All of the Above" option and been 100% correct, but I was completely unimpressed with the defense.

Zero pressure all game long and open receivers all over the place down the field.

If kelce stays inbounds and scores that TD alex doesn't throw a lame duck INT that is returned for 50 yards.

I know he got hit but Gronk would have laid the hit and stayed in bounds.

Just sayin'...

Alex Smith couldn't drive the offense down the field for TD's...until it was too late into the 4th qtr while TB was playing prevent D.

Defense couldn't get off the field. They applied virtually zero pass rush all game, Winston had all day to throw most of the time. Buccs were 11-16 on 3rd down conv%. That's horribly unacceptable. If you're going to allow an NFL QB, sit back in the pocket all day, he's going to carve you up.

We saw bad Andy Reid today. Offense is bad, but more specifically the redzone offense is fucking terrible. Travis Kelce gets hurt, comes off the field hobbling, but comes back in a play later. So what does Reid do? He runs a jet sweep with the same exact hurt TE trying to be cute. Loss of like 5-6 yards on that play.

It was a collective shitty effort by all parties involved...but mostly should fall on Alex Smith. Fuck him right up his 6ypp checkdown throwin ass.

The defense was missing Peters, Howard, and Bailey, and technically two ILBs in Mauga and March. Poe and Johnson were playing with injuries, and Ford left at halftime with an injury, and this was Houston's first game back since the moon landings. And they still held their opponent under 20 points. How can anyone blame the defense?

This team is unbeatable if the offense scores 21 points per game. But that's a lofty goal right now.

Team effort. But the defense still only gave up 19. MOSTLY on coaches, offense and Reidsville. Just as it ever was.

Should of not expected Houston to be a saviour so quick from surgery.

On the year, the defense has been significantly worse than the offense. The only reason this isn't 'the D' in a landslide is the fact that the offense blew a tire for about 5 weeks. But on balance, the offense has been a credible unit.

The Defense has sucked against all but the absolute worst offensive squads in football. I expect they'll suck again this week if Cooper plays.

But it still has to be 'all of the above' because on the rare occasion that the defense has bothered to show, the O hasn't answered the call. And on days that the O played its best, they did so under significant pressure because the D never did its job.

If I had to pick one unit, it would be the defense. But because I don't, it lays at all their feet.

EDIT: I see this is a '16 poll now. Disregard the very strange bump...
