Is this the best locker room the Chiefs have ever had? I'm asking because it's clearly the best locker room in my lifetime.
Hali. Berry. Johnson. Maclin. Kelce. Smith.
So many leaders, every position group has its guy or two that leads. Dorsey was being a stealth Pioli in a lot of his talent acquisitions -- he clearly was trying to build a culture as well as a roster.
It allows the organization to take risks on huge character guys like Peters -- who I believe is a good guy but is just so competitive it ruins his ability to keep his shit together in a 16-game season. You need a Berry and a Parker to basically breathe down his neck.
I bet this was mentioned in the game thread last night, but after Norwood lost that punt for the Donks, one of his teammates gave him a violent shove in the back as he walked back to the sideline. The Broncos are a good team but that's just behavior you almost never see from the Chiefs (although as I'm literally typing this, I remember Peters getting in Zombo's face a few weeks ago).
Maybe one of you guys that remember the Super Bowl team from '69 can weigh in. I don't think we've ever had a team like this.
