This. I am glad I moved across the country and left this behind. Thoroughly enjoyed it but also saw it basically kill a friend (bad heart, up for a couple days, not a good combination).

I call meth an insidious drug. It feels great, is way more economical than coke, and as long as you pay attention to eating a couple times a day doesn't seem too bad. When you are doing it though you do not realize how bad it is eating you up inside. At least I only ever snorted, I don't want to think of the addictiveness of shooting it up (did a lot of drugs in my day but never put a needle in my arm).

Multiple times, and it's some nasty stuff, this was 35 years ago, early 80's. Kinda fun but people let it take control instead of the other way around.

A good snort and you're awake for 24 hours, can't sleep even if you desperately want to. I enjoyed it for three day camping trips when it was just me, wife, friends. Day one, take a snort, get giddy. Day two, sleep it off. Day three go home and back to work.

Where the trouble starts is if you view it as a necessity rather than recreation. Day two, some people feel so shitty they take another snort, and then it spirals out of control.

It's pretty simple - just boil shrooms for 15 minutes or so until they're limp, then strain them off. Add cinnamon or stuff to taste.

ONE BIG CAVEAT: do not forget about the shrooms and let all the water boil out of the pan. I ruined a whole quarter that way that a bunch of us were counting on doing that night. Drove all the way to Lawrence to try to get more, failed.

It's pretty simple - just boil shrooms for 15 minutes or so until they're limp, then strain them off. Add cinnamon or stuff to taste.

ONE BIG CAVEAT: do not forget about the shrooms and let all the water boil out of the pan. I ruined a whole quarter that way that a bunch of us were counting on doing that night. Drove all the way to Lawrence to try to get more, failed.

My late teens and early 20s is a pretty big blur. It was the early 90s, there were no jobs. Everyone I knew who had a college degree was waiting tables or had some other shit job. My manager at Macaroni Grill had a graduate degree. None of us had any ambition whatsoever. As long as I had enough money for a case of Old Mil Light ($3.50 on sale at Osco!) I was good. It was basically like the show Workaholics.

Yeah LSD is 8 hours and can get a lot scarier than shrooms if things don't go well. If you're the kind of person who really wants to do LSD, and do it with other like-minded people, you'll probably be ok. But I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. I don't regret it and I'm glad for the experience, but I won't ever do it again.

My personal favorite is to make shroom tea (or candies) - which is pure psilocybin. It lasts shorter than eating them, and is more euphoric.

One time we drank a quart of mushroom tea, and ate 4 double stack dirty heart extasy tabs each. That was the second most fucked up ive ever been, and it was crazy. The intensity was ridiculous, we had it pitch black, and. O music on for a little bit right when it was hitting us hard. It was like the darkness and whole house was screaming, and then the visuals started and WOWWWW!!
