My wife just suggested that we should head up for the game in a couple weeks and to start looking into tickets, lodging, etc (yes, I know she's a keeper). I'm sure we have a bunch of historical posts on this but I figured I may as well start a new one.

This will be my first game at Arrowhead. Where should we look at sitting? I'm not looking at spending a fortune, but don't want to be in the top row corner of the upper deck, either.

Best place to stay? Any suggestions while we're there? Would just be for the weekend. I appreciate the help and am really looking forward to it!

You won't find a bad seat in the house for this one. It will be vintage Arrowhead.

I just looked up best available and they're $210 a piece. I wish I could make it up there.

Don't think they're announced yet on exact time.

I'm supposed to have a walking cast and boot by then. If so, I'll be there. My wife is going to be at a conference out of town so if I go I'll have an extra ticket. I will start a thread offering up my extra ticket if things work out like I hope they do.

My 7-year old and I are going and it'll be his first Arrowhead experience.

Gonna need tickets, but booked the flight and hotel.

Beyond excited.

I'm going to the doctor Wednesday morning. If he doesn't put me in a walking cast and boot, I'll be selling my tickets. If your interested, I can pm you as soon as I know.

Sure let me know. I may have someone else to get me tickets, but the more options I have, the better.

Thanks man. Hope you can go.

I'm glad that you first-timers are excited, but I'm wondering if we should have more experienced fans in the stands for this.

On that note, I'm going to be hunting for a tailgate to crash if anyone's got an invite...

We'd be up for something like that as well. Just let us know what to bring.

Veterans know when to clap and yell and when to be quiet as a mouse.

The Chiefs have lost every playoff game I've ever attended, so I'm not going.

You're welcome.

Yeah, we need the veteran fans to step up here. I'm all for giving the rookies a chance, but they should perhaps wait outside the stadium and be situational backups if the veterans get winded or something.

Just got back. Sat right behind champ "whammy" kind. Was super nice

Meh. Ticket to a game where the winner gets to go to NE.

If there was a Arrowhead playoff game where NE vs KC & winner is SB bound id be all about it. Just seems like I've seen this song abruptly and dance b4

If they come back with scarred vocal cords, I'll allow it.

What a miserable way to view the game. My condolences that you aren't able to enjoy this.

When is the game & what time? Saturday or Sunday?

Bought mine on Ticketmaster at the 2nd half two minute warning. I had the zoomed in seat map on from the start of the 2nd half and it was interesting to watch the refresh rate which happened each time tickets were selected. I like my seats but I am confident the auto refresh made me pull the trigger a bit sooner...

The walk to the stadium isn't what would make me stay at home. I just refuse to go to a game messing around on crutches. Too many drunks with no self-awareness. I'm sure I'd get knocked to the ground or someone would bump into my cast.

I was asked tonight to go. I now know in getting to old as my comfy recliner, big TV, surround sound and a warm fire sound much better that a 6 hour drive and a but load of cash for the weekend.
