View Full Version : Chiefs Was this the "Chiefiest" game of the year?

This was basically the Whitman's sampler of the Chiefs prototypical game this year:
Won the turnover battle
Scored points off turnovers
Special teams score (Thank again TYRKEEK!)
Alex Smith scramble for touchdown
Kelce invisible after a breakout game
We intercepted them in the end zone
They intercepted us in the end zone (that one hurt)
Peters pick.
Linebacker injury :cuss:
One-off huge Albert Wilson play
Couldn't get a first down to run out the clock
A great win, but Chargers still had a shade of a chance late in the game.
I was following on my phone while traveling so I didn't see the actual game but it seems this had all the typical parts of the way the Chiefs have been playing/winning this year.

No the Chiefiest games are the ones that about give me a heart attack and send me into cardiac arrest. Kinda like the Falcons game.

No way. They took chances against the Falcons. That was an odd game. They played smart.

Strange ending. Chargers just gave up. Really figured they'd try some down field stuff, but they were content running the ball with no time outs. I mean, 10 points in 60 seconds would have been just about impossible, but still...they just screamed uncle.
It was glorious.

Alex Smith scramble for touchdown
Kelce invisible after a breakout game Sounds like he was being disciplined

They intercepted us in the end zone (that one hurt)Tipped pass. Pretty good overall day for Smith
Peters pick.
Linebacker injury :cuss:
One-off huge Albert Wilson play
Couldn't get a first down to run out the clockThey weren't really trying with all backups in. Only time we punted today.

We scored 30 points on offense. Alex had 264 yards, 2 passing TD's and a rushing TD. That doesn't sound like a prototypical Chiefs game to me. I wish it was.

Kind of nice to see the offense clicking all day. We didn't punt until after the 2 minute warning when were running the clock down. Without the tipped pass that went the other way, we could have put up 40 today.

They are running up the middle over our pussy MLBs.
Our safeties are pulled back too far to help
Ron Parker couldn't tackle Ivanka Trump's pussy
Marcus Peters thinks he's Deon Sanders

The Chiefest game of the year was the titans game.
As much as that game and the Bucs game sucked, it turns out that both of those games were meaningless and we would still have the #2 seed if we went 14-2.

The Chiefest game of the year was the titans game.
This... they slowly melted down after a blistering fast start, thats Chiefy
The good news is that we now have a great chance to redefine what being "Chiefy" means

We've won games with defense, we've won them with ST and we've won them with offense. I don't think there is a Chiefiest way to win.

Nope those games were Tampa bay and Titans. Those two game define classic Andy Reid ....

It was over, glad we came out as good as we did, neither team wanted injuries.

He's sporting a .600 career winning percentage and has won 67% of his games in Kansas City. He's going to end his career easily in the top 10 winningest coaches in NFL history.
"Classic Andy Reid" ends in a W. The guy's a HoF coach.

Let's hop h can solve that game mgmt and timeout mystery so we can win a superbowl. Don't think there will be any ice in Houston for kickers.
