With the finish in the Superbowl last night.... The last 2 drives, to "The Catch", the comeback, to the overtime drive. This Superbowl turned into a great game to watch. But it seemed to be on par with some great....great games/series this sports year.
Going back to the 2016 NCAA Basketball tournament with a wild finish. A wild shot to tie then the rushed shot to win the game. The last 90 seconds were great to watch.

Next you have the NBA finals with LeBron and the Cavs coming back from being down 3-1 against the team that won the most games in NBA History. Fun game 7 to watch with implications on both sides and both teams laying out on the line.

Then going to the World Series and the Cubs "Breaking the curse". The Series going to a game 7 and then going to extra innings to finish it.

Lastly the game and finish to the NCAA Football National Championship Game. Great game to watch and what a final drive and what a finish.....

So was this the best year for Championship Finals/Series/Games?
