So you've never fished or fired a weapon.

Ever used a post-hole digger? Slept in a tent you put up? Driven a standard? Made a fire that wasn't from propane or briquettes? Shotgunned a beer? Broken a bone?

You seem to have had, if nothing else, a fairly benign childhood.

Tons of urban fishing here in Phoenix too, which surprises people. Tons of small "lakes" made here and stocked with fish year round. I've never tried it but if I have a kid, I will definitely be out there.

Lakewood was stocked full. We'd fish off the pontoon all the time. And off the back yard. General rule is throw them back. Wouldn't want to eat them anyway.

Looks like the ex let the pool go to shit and the pontoon upholstery looks severely sun damaged. Lazy bitch can't be bothered to put the cover on it.

Coincidentally about a year before grandpa died we had a long talk about life and farming and whatnot. His advice to me was to take more time to go fishing. Not shitting. I haven't thought of that in several years. Grandpa was a far better man than I could ever dream of being.

It's actually awesome. You have cold beer in the bucket to start with. Then, you catch fish, throw them right onto the ice, and have the freshest most awesome fish fry that evening. Very peaceful also.

Lake Winnie! Haven't been for a couple years, but my family used to vacation there every summer. My great aunt and uncle used to own a cabin on Little Winnie, but after it got sold we stayed at Eagles Nest. Great walleye fishing for several years until here recently. Now from what I've heard the Natives have over fished it with nets. Hope you're having some luck!
