The more I think about it, it's pretty clever of Snyder. Why not get the best talent evaluator as the guy to pick that talent.

No he doesn't. Both are former players, but Mayock is actually a talent evaluator.

Would be a really dumb move for him to do this. Plenty of $$, lead draft analyst who people respect and also ND's TV commentator.

This is just like Gruden. I can't see either giving that up to go to a shit hole with that much pressure.
